I think Gilett was injured, he didn't look as nimble as usaul.

If thats the case get him off FFS Sims sat on the bench for nearly an hour.

The more I read peoples comments the more I beginning to believe Henjack is not a good coach unless he has good players to do the work for him.

I'd love him to prove us wrong, and he's done it for the under 20's but there's so much less pressure there - lets hope he can come up with something, cause the pressures really on - and it was on just as strongly not all that long ago...

Yeah what was with the shuffling of positions?

At one stage Winterstein was defending in the ruck, Gillett was on the wing, Beale was centre

Smacks of desperation

And leads to confusion in the line

I was eagerly awaiting Sims' return to the field.

How times have changed, lol.

That scoreline flattered the Roosters. We had more opportunites to score but failed to do so.

Dummy half defence needs improvement. Roosters made too many easy metres in the first half although we did stop the rot in the second half.

The effort was there for 80 minutes though and I'm happy with that.

Beale's defence has done a 180, very impressed with that aspect of his game tonight.

Season isn't over, not by a long shot. There is plenty to build on from tonight.

I'm not usually a fan of blaming the coach, but yeah. The shuffling of players was insane.

It felt like we went into the game with no plan, and he just wanted to see how things went. Almost as if it was a trail.

Yeah, he actually was doing well. Almost trying to hard at one point when he gave a penalty.

Yep agree on Beale and his defence but he offers nothing in attack. I'd be happy to see Copley in the team next week he scored 4 tries tonight in the under 20's

Also, what was with Locky tonight? I know his game is not what it used to be, but he had nothing tonight. Could be that he had no confidence in his team after seeing them make so many mistakes in offense. Either way, his stuipd little hand-off passes were a waste of a tackle. Sammy made the most of them though and he seemed to stop trying to do all the work this game.

Henjak just needs to pick his best team and stick with it. You need every bit of experience you can get so I would have Sims starting.

I just don't get the whole Beale on the bench thing especially when it's Beale and Hunt on the bench. Our second hal effort as a team was pretty good. We're just not getting enough from our 6 & 7 and Norman doesn't inject himself into the game enough. Lockyer went the wrong option 8/10 times and Wallace needs to go to the line more. Teams know who to pressure in the broncs backline as our plays aren't mixed up enough.

On another note how good was Cooper Cronks no look inside ball to Slater to win today (might have been forward but you had to give it).

I though that Ben Hunt had some good touches tonight.

McCullough was trying to hard in the first half and made some mistakes.

Thaiday just tried his heart out. made some good ground.

Sims looked good when he was on.

Sims was good in attack but his marker D is too reactionary and finds himself a couple of mtrs out of position when they use the inside ball. Similar to Taylor and no show

Locky wasn't that bad, he just tried to do everything, he ran more than normal was in dummy half a lot as well as his normal work load.

Macca is going to be good in a couple of years but he really needs just to get his passing and timing right as well as engage the markers a lot better especially if we are going to play so tight most of the game.

IH has to find a way to get the best out of Sims we really need his size and Setu.
Also get his bench sorted, Hunt was a waste tonight, I would rather he rest Macca and play Wallace at 9 so Hunt gets to play 7 if he keeps his bench the same.

agreed Wallace does abit more than his fairshare in defence, meaning someone is being lazy not helping out and taking charge at the line...
pitiful performance for what it was, lota half chances went begging and when we were on the front foot last play options were crap! Sims was solid dont know why he was ever left out..dont really rate Scott Anderson after tonights game, did nothing, looked lethargic, abit like Gillett sometimes, altho he was carrying an injury?
Lockyer and some of his ploys in passing are truely crapola, i mean them short passes with 2-3 guys waiting for a tackle aint exactly good play, thats just tryna add more to the already big injury list!

if the roosters can play like that and still beat us , next weeks game is gonna be MURDER

Setu looked good in attack tonight, made some offloads that resulted in good gains as well as some good gains himself. he just needs to stop rushing out of the line aiming for the big hit, because farr too often he misses and gives the opposition a huge gain

That's how they've gotten to 4 straight GFs - forward passes that look good - bastards - though it was pretty, but then their game is so boring that anything looks exciting

Ha ha ha.... Cameron Smith loves a flat pass.

Yep. If McCullough wants to get anywhere he has to stop trying to run the ball and master the flat pass.

terrible game...

Broncos just keep planting their feet in defense and any foot work at the line beats the first defender... poor line speed & not much communication either...

Again beaten in the ruck, cant get numbers in tackles and peel away to get to marker, giving up easy meters up the guts...

No patience or cohesion in attack, pushing passes & no one knows where the ball is going...

Normans struggling to get involved up in the line as well...

Sims was good enough to be there again next week...

In a pretty big hole atm...
