OR an attitude problem (do I sound like a broken record to anyone else?).

If we still had Bennett then maybe an "agenda" would be a legitimate explanation, but when two coaches treat him the same way surely you have to be leaning towards the idea that Taylor is the problem.

+1. And reports he had a falling out with Webcke early in the year.

Reminds me a bit of Greg Eastwood's "oh ****, Benton's coming back I better leave" attitude. Some players just can't hack what's expected of them.

Those kinds of players are no great loss IMO.

rissi_gurl, Broncos get byes in rounds 12 and 18. Nice to know that their getting a break just before Origin 1 and 3. Could work out well

Broncos always get their byes when they want them. Origin kills us otherwise.

Yeh sorry, I was just speculating about what may be happening with Taylor. It could very well be an attitude problem that they are trying to deal with. Until they come out and tell us, people are going to speculate.

Haha didnt he want to fight him... LMAO!!
Dave your a unit but my money's on Webcke

Oh I know, but I don't see the point in saying "such and such player is playing bad too, why isn't he facing training targets"?

We don't know what targets Taylor has.
So we don't know whether they would apply to other underperforming players.
Besides which, Sims, Setu and Te'o have each spent time in lower grades due to poor form this year, so I hardly think Taylor's being victimised.

I honestly don't know why Coxy and Hammo are going off about the Toyota Cup so much.

Preaching to the converted or making noise for the sake of enjoying your own sound?

I was actually using it as a chance to promote my "Tier 2" idea and;

Because people on this very forum have used performances in the under 20s to suggest a player should be rushed into first grade.

What he said! People were using TYC performances as a measuring tool.

Alex Glenn was called in as 18th man for the Kiwis today...

thats a bit of a shock but he can play anywhere, so a good decision.

more to do with the game being played in brisbane...

then i'm gald we signed him for 3 years before he does play a game for them, otherwise his price could go up significantly

His contract would probably have clauses for rep selection, he may be due for an upgrade anyway!

There are 8 clubs not playing this weekend, it wouldn't be hard for the Kiwis to bring in another player from those.

Glenn deserves the credit.

Of course. And the same applies to Michaels.

Wasn't the reason Taylor was sent to QLD cup to get some more minutes in his legs? That was what Henjak said anyway, apparently they wanted him to get some more match fitness because he was only playing for 20 minutes in the Broncos games. Could be a smokescreen but I'm pretty sure since he went to QLD cup he has been playing the full 80 minutes.

the Courier Mail said that hunt is in doubt for tomorrows game with a corked thigh that he got during the knight game... he'll need an 11th hour fitness test to play

Hodges is unlikely to be playing either.

Hunt is out, Beale trained in his place!

18-year-old rookie Gerard Beale trained in Hunt's position today and is poised to make his first grade debut.

Another youngster, Alex Glenn, called into Kiwi camp before the Test as their 18th man, trained in Hodges right centre spot.

Former Dragon Tom Hewitt, who hasn't made an appearance for Brisbane since joining them in 2008, trained on the wing.
