Broncos vs Warriors Build up Thread

Sims > Kenny.

Funny that, I've said many times before Sims should at least be on the bench, yet others have said he is a dud. I don't know what Henjak's problem is.

Sims doesn't do any other odd-jobs like Kenny does. :P

In all fairness, Kenny is a great club men who obviously loves the club and Henjak values that over Sims who reportedly has an attitude problem...

Sims has been consistently crap barring a handful of games each season since coming to the club, now he is leaving I don't see any point bothering with him.

had a dream last night that the company i worked for hosted the broncos website.
subsequenty macca and hoffman called me up because for whatever reason, those two blokes were maintaining/updating the broncos page.
macca let slip on the call that lockyer would be playing this week against the warriors.

im weird.

Beat me np!

Still no Lockyer...hopefully the boys come to their senses and realise they can still defend with or without the great one.

Henjak is an atrocious first grade coach if he isn't going to make a single player accountable for the pathetic performance last week.

FFS Ivan, get Te'o back to the back row where he belongs and where he has been outstanding all season!!!!

Hear Hear! Or rather, there there - in the back row with T'eo where he belongs.

And Hunt on the bench yet again against a monster team of monsters?

Man, much as I like Norman, wouldn't it be preferable to start Hunt at 7, Wallace at 6, T'eo in the back row and Gillett off the bench for some much need impact. Or even T'eo on the bench.

As it stands, there is no impact on that bench.

Hey All,

Just thought i would pop in and say, looking forward to the game on Friday. warriors U20s coming for a massive win, they are trying to push for a minor premership.

For the Main game, with Luck likely to be rulled out, & Lockyer flying over, from what i have heard, no one know's what team is going to turn up.

The warriors will be fired up for this game, Steve Price last home game, so the boys will be looking for a win for him ala Ruben Wiki farewell game at home.

Kevin Locke, coming back in for Bill Tupou this week, hopfully he is not put against Folau. [eusa_doh .

Manu "The Beast" Vatuvei will be looking for soild performance yet again.

So you want McCullough to play the 80 and make ~50 tackles against a massive pack? Makes sense...

WARRIORS:

Lance Hohaia, Kevin Locke, Brent Tate, Joel Moon, Manu Vatuvei, James Maloney, Brett Seymour, Sam Rapira, Aaron Heremaia, Russell Packer, Simon Mannering (capt), Lewis Brown, Jacob Lillyman. Interchange: Alehana Mara, Ben Matulino, Ukuma Ta'ai, Jesse Royal, Sione Lousi. (one to be omitted).

Why doesn't it? He has shown in the past he can handle the 80 minute workload.

Again, hear hear.

Aside from which, last week he showed at long bloody last, that we do actually have a good long term solution for that critical position which IMO, requires for the consistent cohesion of the team,in large part lacking over much of this season, at least a 70 min effort.

With Hunt in the halves, and Gillett as back-up, plus another forward off the bench, to my mind, a sensible blend.

It wasn't long ago that many of us were saying the time had come to ditch Hunt off the bench as a strategy at the business end of the season where we need some kind of impact off that bench, plus another forward.

Forwards are the ones in the big games who really need a rest.

Referring to another thread, it is a decision like this which is the coach's, decisions which can make or break a team.

All of this is pretty academic since IH decided to screw with the team's mechanisms and routines after Locky's injury.
Had Norman come in to replace Locky and the rest stayed the same, I doubt we would have lost the Eels game.

Now, with all those changes and players out of position, the only hope is that they were able to solidify as a team and will put up a solid defence, but what happens when Locky does return? [icon_shru

Guys, this weekend will see the return of the beautiful, creative and cohesive style that we showed and loved a couple of games back.

Thankfully, the dark cloud of pessimism will lift.
Reading the papers and the forum will again be a warm and rewarding experience.

What a difference a week will make.

I won't go into to it in detail, but be prepared for a magnificent Broncos performance.
Get ready.

Old RBY is seldom right, but never wrong.
Talk to you guys post game.

One love.

Let's hope so SBL. I just have this feeling as well that we are going to see a much improved performance from the boys on Friday night. They will be right up for this one.
