Tell us more please. What's his pedigree, physical stats etc
93% tackle efficiently, a lock that can play on the edge, 190cm, 93kg, full time Carpenter part time footy player, has a offload in his game.

One of the Knights better players coming through the NYC. I'm not sure about the Dallas Johnson comparison. When I think of Johnson, I think of a ball-playing lock forward that could link with his halves. Hosking was the type of player who used to enjoy looking for inside passes and cut back through the middle to try and get between defenders.

I was surprised he never seemed to be on some sort of development deal. I believe he trained with the NRL squad a few times, but I thought they would have put more time into him while he got seasoned in NSW Cup. With that said, he was always going to be one of those late bloomers who was going to have to get used to the physicality of playing against men.

I think he could be handy depth, especially around the Origin period.

WWOS article saying he was the NSW cup player of the year for the past 2 years.

he's only 24, so could be a bit like Kurt Capewell who was 22 when he made his debut for the Sharks.

although, we're pretty good in that department, so even if he wins a contract, he's likely to just be depth.

Thanks, that's still quite an achievement. I wonder if the clever judges think he's at his peak and there's no higher level?

I like Brenko, will not be surprised to see him start in round 1 at all.
I would and I wouldn’t. His only avenue really is Jordan playing shit and Oates not being back in the loop.

I've thought since he signed he would be a smoky, quite likely as the squad upgrade on Kennedy who started last year well but then just fell off a cliff.
Kennedy had a 2012 Barba-like purple patch. Unfortunately this purple patch escalated him to being a first grade standard bench option. He quickly fell back into being one of the worst players in the comp.

what about jack bower , how does he go?

Hard to tell he's played fullback in a struggling Pride Colts- Wynnum will be good for him. He's fast but breaking into the Wynnum team is going to be hard.

Yeah, the Farr brothers all look the goods, surprised we haven't got one of them on a development deal.

Hope Piakura can go a couple games without being binned or ko’d. He’s had the worst luck. I hope he gets to play all 3 trials before sitting out his suspension (and most of the season to develop in cup).

and I want to see more of his crazy eyes.

Any idea when the team for the trial is named?

Well @Fitzy, I hate to say I told you so ... actually, wait a second, no I don't.

but as I predicted Reynolds isn't playing this trial game.
