Broncos withdraw offer for Hunt

ok i stand corrected, but he was never intended to be used there for the full game, only the opening minutes. if the selectors didnt get a boner over him as much as he does himself, he wouldnt even be there, but they always try to find a spot for him (like game 1 at five eighth :S)

regardless, hes not worth wat he thinks he is

If we lose Hunt, it's a huge backwards step for the future of our club.

We could find another player with similar arrogance.

Who cares if he is arrogant... He is a footballer not a priest ffs.

Wow, you talk some shit alright.

*re-reads Queenslander's post*

Well, other than his assertion that the selectors are blindly aroused by Khunt, he's actually correct - he was never expected to play the full game at fullback, merely protect Slater from the opening onslaught, and they really only chose him at five-eighth because they wanted him somewhere. He failed, albeit mostly because the pack were a bunch of pansies that first game.

Why would Hunt need to protect Slater?? Slater is the best fullback/player in the game.

I was more referring to his ongoing vendetta against Hunt in every way possible.

That's why Slater gifted the Kiwis a try in the World Cup.

It's because of him we lost.

FFS Kaz, is there any fullback in the world who isn't either arrogant or useless?

[icon_lol1. You have no idea what Player Managers do!!!!!!!!!

Everyone is commenting on stuff they really know nothing about... unless you are involved in this behind the scenes it's not really fair to comment on. Taking this newspaper reports as fact isn't the best idea, they report anything and everything, half the time the stuff they report is total bullshit.

Let's just see how this plays out - Hunt has been nothing but a fantastic player for the club, everyone is so quick to turn on him and rip into him based on hearsay and conjecture...

It's not hearsay or conjecture that he rejected the Broncos' offer...

Because he refused to accept it.
