At what point do the board look at Bruno's postion and wonder if he is doing a good job??? He is not the only one to blame for the mess but the rot starts at the top IMO. Do they have board meetings every month or something?? There was a rumour going around last year that he would retire this year!
The club is in a great financial position, crowds and memberships have grown every year and we have won a premiership while he has been CEO, hes done a great job and we are lucky to have him... Some of you cant seem to get it into your heads that Bruno doesn't recruit players, he signs them, Henjak, Nolan and Bunn are responsible for recruitment and retainment of the roster, Bruno only does the deals...

Your nothing but a Dreamer!!

Managing Director – Bruno Cullen

Being Football Manager why is noone asking questions regarding Peter Nolan?

Cheif Financial officer, Louise Lanigan... I wonder if she has a say with contracts as well.

If Bruno got his fat head off the TV he wouldn't be such a target!! Yeah Peter Nolan should be gone they all should be gone!!

Its not in dissaray as someone said earlier Benton has left once before due to a fallout with Bennet. Its really just a sign that Benton is hard to work with.

Alfie drink driving, well his from an Era where drinking after a game was the norm and as has been said, the media is just more accessible now.

Our 1/4... round 4 this week we have 8 players injured and 2 suspended.

1999 was disappointing for the club with a terrible early-season form hindering their attempt at a third consecutive premiership losing 8 of their first 10 matches. Club legend Allan Langer retired mid-season, perhaps as a result of the team's form. Despite the club's mid-season turnaround, which resulted in qualification for the finals after an 11-match winning streak, the team was eliminated by the Cronulla Sharks in the first week of the finals. However, the Broncos' rebounded in 2000 with their fifth premiership, defeating the Sydney Roosters. The game marked the retirement of veterans Kevin Walters and Michael Hancock.[4]

Yes they do have monthly meetings. And as has been pointed out already, Bruno's job encompasses the entire organisation. In all areas but on-field performance the club is in an extraordinarily strong position - and Bruno's involvement in the on-field performance is fairly minimal.

If you get a chance, have a read of the 2009 Financial Results PDF document on the Broncos website. It makes for interesting reading and states that Bruno is on $283,500 a year, plus 8% super and car. It also says he is "entitled to be paid annual bonuses as a result of individual achievement, effort, dedication, committment and overall Company performance at the discretion of the Board of Directors". (Page 14). In 2009, he was given a $30,00 cash bonus/es and $20,000 in non-monetary benefits.

It also says his contract expires 31st December 2010 and that either he or the Company can terminate the contract providing they give three months notice.

Yep but no-where does it say that Bruno is responsible for the on-field performance of the team.
