Agreed Coxy, I think he has potential. A typical performance from him seems to be a few halfbreaks, some good support play, reliable defence and the odd good kick. Yes, he still has rookie mistakes in him and he's not as good as Cherry-Evans or a Mitchell Pearce but he's shown enough to at least go around next season. It's not like JT, Cronk or Soward were that great in their first full seasons.

From what I've heard though, the Cows aren't interested in Carney which is a relief. Carney needs to see what it's like in the real world and learn some responsibility.

If Arana Taumata can get a billion chances with a billion clubs despite never having achieved anything in his career, I can see Carney getting another shot somewhere. I'd love for the Raiders to get some value out of him for all the years they dealt with his crap, but I can't imagine them throwing him a lifeline.
