if we are halving money stated in News Lts paper ... we should have millions free to sign up whoever we want as Boyd would only be on about 400k, same with Bird ... 250k for Haas, 350k for Lodge. 300k for TPJ ... our recruitment team have done much better than i thought.

I'm talking about AFTER his current contract. He is low priority, compared to Haas, Lodge, Pangai, Fifita etc. . and again, trying to GET or RETAIN some backs is crucial for the Broncos.

Carrigan is lucky to be in the 17, let alone captain. He's solely there due to injuries and suspensions, to far superior players, and will lose his place ASAP. What a sorry state the club is in, if he is to captain. His showing as a captain in the trials was very poor. Croft directs and speaks more, and doesn't start useless fights. Far better option, until the two preferred captains are available.

Swap out macca for a back. We NEED another back on the bench. Theres zero point having two hooker in the lineup, especially now we have a good half.

Any other suggestions? Boyd was stripped, Glenn is injured. Carrigan is the only choice as amazing as that might sound.

I don't mind as a one off as in this instance it would be Glenn but for the fact he is injured.

but as a fulltime captain? No, not yet, let him earn his place in the starting side and get through a full season or two before giving him that pressure.

Blair has captained from the bench from a top tier test side. Having a co captain isn't a bad thing Carrigain does the the job on the field Glenn off it.
