This wasn't cool. Any reports on Cobbo yet? Looks like 1-2 weeks from that KO.
And the fake tough guy had nothing to do with the tackle. Did nothing then, did nothing for the rest of the game. I'm disappointed with QLD for allowing this Michael Jackson-looking prick to walk out of the stadium on his own last night. Disgusting excuse for a human being. He's the kind of bloke you see in fight videos acting like he's a tough guy after someone's been king hit.View attachment 19166

Luai was completely unaware of Cobbo’s state when he did the act, but conceded it was “heat of the moment stuff”
“I actually didn’t know he was knocked out,” Luai said. “But that’s Origin, heat of the moment stuff. I play with a lot of passion. I spoke to him (Cobbo) after the game and he was all good, so good to see that.”
However, the Panthers star claimed he had no reason to say sorry to Cobbo after the incident. “I don’t think I have anything to apologise for,” Luai said. “There wasn’t any harm. I didn’t touch him.”
Luai’s act was widely condemned from many footy fans on social media, even by some living south of the Tweed border. The word that often appeared among footy fans was “grub”, a term Luai has almost become accustomed to hearing after games.
But the 25-year-old felt that at the end of the day, he’s the one on the pitch doing the hard yards and not the resident armchair analysts. “They’ve always called me that (grub),” Luai said. “So that’s the fans of the sport and you need to take into consideration they’re not out there on the field.”
he really is a fucking grub **** isn't hehttps://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/st...y/news-story/6580fea492c2418ce224cc9013b96ce2
Someone really needs to take these Panthers players down a few fucking notches. What an arrogant ****. "Didn't know" my arse.
And perhaps if people have called you a grub your entire playing career, you could do a bit of self-reflection and consider why that might be?

They’ve always called me that (grub),” Luai said.

what does this even mean?

The NRL is doing literally everything they can to make the Panthers attractive to Western Sydney kids because of the threat of an AFL taking over the area, but some of these Panthers players are doing everything they can to be hated. They’re surrounded by people and a competition who allows them to do whatever they want with no consequences.
They honestly need to give up on these players. They’re not good people. Luai specifically is an absolute scumbag who deserves no success and certainly isn’t as good as the NRL allows him to be.
Only when given the space the NRL allows him to have. Without it, when reffed exactly the same as every other team in the competition, he’s average. He’s surrounded by far better players. To be fair, he IS good, very good in fact. He also happens to be a jerk on the field, a big one. This does not change the fact he is a very good player.
I don't see it. If he wasn't at the panthers, he'd be just another first grade footballer. He was shit last night. To be fair, he IS good, very good in fact. He also happens to be a jerk on the field, a big one. This does not change the fact he is a very good player.
Wow, what did Luai think cobbo was doing then? He’d only be lying there due to an injury which means no one should be standing over him regardless. What an idiot.https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/st...y/news-story/6580fea492c2418ce224cc9013b96ce2

You can take the boy out of mt druitt, but you can't take the mt druitt out of the boy.It means he knows he's a grub, and his only reply is that we don't play the game so wouldn't know.
Grub ****.
Yep. Can't stand him but this is true, he is what I wanted Milford to be.To be fair, he IS good, very good in fact. He also happens to be a jerk on the field, a big one. This does not change the fact he is a very good player.
