This guy is my most hated Broncos player since Michael Anus.
But at least Ennis could prove himself with consistent good performances on the field something Blair hasn't done for years.

T-T-TRIPLE POST
Maybe I'm just being optimistic, maybe it's my inner Pro-Bennett agenda, but I like to think of the possible positives of signing a player, every time.
Pros:
- Can be a dominant player, shown in Melbourne
- If any coach can get the best out of a guy like Blair, it's Bennett
- Back in familiar surroundings, went to high school in Brisbane
- Back with his girlfriend, who lives in Brisbane
- NZ connection (Kearney, Glenn, Gavet)
- Had his best year last year at the Tigers (Still not even close to Melbourne performance)
- Still a reasonably young age (28), a few years left to reinstate himself as a great player
Cons:
- He's been **** since he left Melbourne, marginally improved this year
- Less money for the Broncos to retain and sign other players
- Less playing time for younger props (?) (Not sure if this is a con, depends on how good the younger props play)
How does everyone know exactly what we are paying for and how much money we are receiving ? Is there a site somewhere that details the financial side ? I read poster after poster on here declaring how much we are paying for Kennedy to play elsewhere, how much this and that player cost us, where are you all getting this information ? Did they publish details ? Are we somehow different to all the other clubs and are terrible financial planners or are we in the exact same boat as the other clubs ?
In regards to Kennedy, there have been numerous articles. Some saying he was on $450k, others saying he was the highest paid Broncos forward IIRC. Now that he's at the Roosters, it's been said that he's on a minimum contract. But I'm sure you've read all of this. Are you insinuating that this info is wrong, or inaccurate, because it's the best we have to go on. And accurate or not, there's a big gap from $450k to the minimum ($80k?) so even accounting for bad, um, accounting, there's a big gap.
I think everybody realises that, mate. It's just how much of that amount the Broncs have to stump up that is in question. There is no gap. He still gets x amount in full just gets it from two sources not one. That's the call you make when you release a player. Broncos got Prince cheaper than he would have been because he was getting paid by the Titans too.
He was only at Wavell for a year in 2003
No insinuations. What is obvious is that no one knows so any statements regarding the monies paid or received should be disregarded. The Broncos are a business first and as such would behave in a business like manner, they are not stupid and would not squander money. Whatever Blair cost I feel certain it would be value for money and I expect WB will get the most out of him.In regards to Kennedy, there have been numerous articles. Morkel, you speak of gaps but in reality you know nothing about how big or small the gap is, you can speculate but that's all.I wouldn't be surprised to learn we are paying around the same in a real sense for Blair as we paid for Kennedy. We lose a bit paying a portion of Kennedys salary but gain a bit from Blairs former employer. No matter, I have no problem with people voicing an opinion but perhaps instead of insisting their view is incontrovertible they could allow for the fact that they may be totally wrong.
Hopefully we get storm Blair instead of tigers Blair.
Yes ,you are correct, you are wrong. Any comments I make regarding unknowable facts is always from the point of view that those facts are just that. The media reports do not go against anything I've said and speculation with a negative slant about the disparity in wages or contracts is simply people trying to push the 'hate WB and his decisions' agenda.I could be wrong here, but i'm sure you have commented on players salaries in the past (and i'm assuming only based on media reports).
but now the media reports go against you POV, and they must be instantly disregarded.
