Me too
Bennett is completely overhauling our rosters because if people weren't aware, they did **** all this year and have done so for the past couple of seasons. No player is safe and everyone is playing for their spots which is a good thing. We have way to many coasters on this team and its about time they got put on notice.
FFS Bennett ...
Obviously he is upset that Griffin can be credited with the worst signing in club history, so he has decided to try and out-do him.
If Griffin or Henjak signed Blair there would have been a 100 page thread calling it the worst signing in any sport of all time
yet here we are with some people even saying its a good signing and that "bennett will bring out his best"
I think price will dictate on whether he is a good buy. Martin Kennedy the reserve grader at 400k/year was pretty bad.
lol....great signing. Another master stroke Mr Bennett. Very pleased you're back, I feel better, so much better, better than I did before, I feel better, so much better.....No doubt Blair will kill it for Brisbane, a quality player, so excited for 2015, WB hasn't put a foot wrong yet.

Joey O is 19 and Molo is 20 so i would say they are still 2-3 years away in all reality. They need to mature yet to play front rowThis is just a shit signing all round to me.
Blair has been hopeless and seen as one of the worst signings in recent memory at the Tigers and the fact they let Andrew Fifita and Bryce Gibbs go to accommodate him just puts the icing on the cake. Yes he has played a heap of tests for the Kiwis but pretty much every Kiwi of note that stays around plays for them and we've got a heap of promising young props coming through and I feel there is a chance we will miss out on a top young player and have our own Fifita to the Sharks case. I'm hoping for the best but not expecting much. I'm repeating myself but Blair is just another case of a Storm player turning into a nuffie after leaving Smith/Cronk/Slater and Bellamy.
I had concerns with Bennett coming back and would've taken some convincing to sign him and so far my concerns have been correct.
I am a huge Bennett fan and I have had no great problems with any decision so far - until this one
I think this is a mistake but hope to be proven wrong
And just because I think it's a mistake doesn't make it a mistake, it's only my opinion, and it doesn't mean that WB is a senile old fool
Some of you really need to take note of this post
It's written by an adult
Anyone know what Blair was on at the Tigers? He was released from his contract to come up here... so he won't be cheap as a NZ rep.
We let go of Hannant and Kennedy for this hack?
Due to having him on my SVRL team, I kept a closer eye on him than most, and he was a lazy, error and penalty prone pillow!
His stats for 2014:
23 games
63.6 minutes average per game
27.7 tackles per game with 2.6 missed.
10.4 hit-ups per game at 7.5 mtrs avg per hit-up. (one of the lowest forwards in the NRL)
17 penalties and 18 errors for 2014.
:witchhunt:
The evidence is that Blair has been terrible for the past few seasons.
On that basis, Foordy would think any coach would be stupid to sign him.
Pulling people up on it and telling them they'll have to 'wait and see' is the bane of any good discussion. Of course time could prove the coach right, that would make their achievement more incredible but I'd rather hear what these members would have to say than basically everyone saying 'oh, this could or could not be such a great signing, guess we'll better wait and see'.
That just makes for a forum of hindsight heroes.
