My girlfriend is a nurse and her first impression was compound fracture, too.
I’m no doctor, but it looked more like a super-gnarly tag cut to me.
Not sure how someone could stand up and play a ball with a snapped bone sticking out of their thigh either.
Hope I’m right, would be a much better outcome than a compound fracture.
I can't see the injury? Is it left or right leg.?
YowYeh never made it back and he seemed to have a lot more heart than Corey.
Hope so, crappy way to go6-12 months, he'll be fine. His career isn't over.

It could be a scenario where the bone wasn't out of the leg until he stood up.The fact he stood up and played the ball is pretty fucking hardcore though.
I'd be rolling around in agony.

Seems crazy that it broke so easily. Didn't seem very high impact or anything.
This is obviously the reason I’m not a doctor!Seibold said compound fracture at press conference

That's what I was thinking. Pretty innocuous tackle. It hints at deeper health issues for Oates that might need to be looked into.
