Just watched the Round 2 win over the Cowboys. That's one way to do it. Goodness, a Hoffman angled grubber behind the line for Vidot to score.
We should try that tactic again one day, or maybe creating overlaps? How about putting our edge forwards into a nice big hole. The Gillett try was a nice way to do it.

Apparently Kahu will be playing this Saturday, for the Broncos.
That most likely means that Hoffman isn't ready to play and Kahu will play Left Centre next to Vidot whilst Copley plays Right Centre next to Maranta.

Kahu's defence isnt that bad, it's not like hodges is a star in defence either.
Kahu will be fine, Moga will be the one tested in defence

i'm pretty happy with the choice for kahu to play centre. i'd prefer there was no mid game shuffling.

I very much agree with this. Moga showed a lot of promise a few years ago and looked like he could be anything, unfortunately injuries have really cruelled him.
Moga would have been on a minimal contract with the roosters with no off field issues, so if he was this elite centre they would not have released him mid-season

i disagree, fair enough he is not an elite centre yet but he was waiting behind a pretty good locking backline at the roosters especcially when they bought jennings over, but from what ive seen of moga this year he definately has some talent, a quite powerful runner seems pretty hard to put on his ass, and he has a good flick pass on him as well, i would rather oates marking up on him then kahu,, but whoever it is vidot needs to trust his centre in defence and stay out on his winger! thurston punishes wingers that race in, expect kyle feldt to get a few tries if we lose.
