FOOTBALL English Premier League 23/24 Discussion

Can't believe that ended a draw. Enough chances to win the game 2 or 3 times.

Performance was much better for big chunks of the game, especially first half, but need to convert that to 3pts

I don't know why Mount wasn't brought on. He's actually looked good in the limited game time he's had.

Pay 60 million for Ugarte, don't start him and then bring him on in the 76th minute and don't also bring on Mount to give us that extra bit of creativity and fresh legs.

Have to admit, Henderson had a great game though. I always hate coming up against former players. They have a point to prove.

Draw was the result I expected tbh.

Can't be mad with a point away at Palace. 6pt fixture those ones when you come up against teams that will finish in the same part of the table, just have to win the home game

Was great to see Chiesa get some meaningful minutes at Anfield last night.

Feel like the place would have absolutely erupted if he had grabbed a goal.

Shout out to Kelleher for an excellent performance, too. Can't ask for much more from a backup keeper,

Gravenberch - unreal again. I love watching him.

Trossard given a second yellow for kicking the ball away, but City players do the same thing during the game in the same half, no booking at all.

What an absolute spud Michael Oliver is. Arsenal being forced to play with 10 men for the whole second half, and I think if that doesn't happen, they win that game. Arsenal fans can feel robbed after that one.

You can live with these decisions if they're consistent with it, but that wasn't the case with this game. Hell, I've seen players kick the ball away in other games as well and no booking.

Sigh. Should have won that. Missed opportunity 😕.

Beating City with 11 men is hard enough, doing it down to 10 men for an entire half at their home ground, virtually impossible.

If I were Arsenal, I would take a lot of positives out of that game. There is absolutely no doubt Arsenal would have won that game if Trossard wasn't sent off.

City players reactions at full time show that Arsenal are in their heads and they are worried about them. The title race is well and truly on.

Very much looking forward to the next game at Emirates in Feb.

Rodri ruled out for the remainder of the season with an ACL.

That's a blow for City.
