I know with tritons if you hit the sensor hard enough with a hammer the airbag goes off

You could do that on Falcons back in the day too. Modern stuff usually requires more than one trigger now days.

Exactly. Wife and I were in our car when it was written off. I had no concerns at all but the wife still gets anxious. It’s been 4 years now

I find it hard to believe the air bags didn't go off in the uber driver's car.
