Just a fun thread to list facts from the Broncos 2010 season [icon_drun

Fact. Josh Hoffman has saved more one on one tries this season than Karmichael Hunt did throughout his whole career at the Broncos.

Fact. Andrew Mccullough improved as the season went on whereas Thaiday, Gillette, Te'o went the opposite.

Fact. Ben Hunt has slowly found his feet in first grade.

Fact. Winterstein wins The Steve Michaels Trophy for 2010.

Fact. Parker was consistently good and was the Broncos best foward with Thaiday from dropping off towards the end of the year.

Fact. Norman needs to spend at least a season in QLD Cup before ever playing first grade again.

Fact. Even though Hoffman missed the start of the season, he was the Broncos best player by far. Never put in a bad perfomance and on occasions simply outstanding. He deserves to win the Paul Morgan Player of the Year award.

Go ahead Big Pete, tell me which one aren't facts. [eusa_naugh

What do you believe a fact is fellow 'Big' person Dave?

A truth verifiable from experience or observation

Fact : Tonights crowd was shit, even if your team is behind you stay loud and support them! Don't wait until they score to cheer.

[icon_lol1. okay Dave.

www.nrlstats.com go there buddy.

They don't have a try save stat.

Nor did they tell me that Winterstein won the Steve Michaels trophey in 2010.

Or that Norman should be dropped. Not that it was ever a fact. It is a fact that Big Dave should think he should be dropped however.

he fucken nailed the hoffman fact!! he has easily saved more tries than Khunt ever did. hoffman goes for the effective, safe tackle wrapping up the ball whereas old mate khunt tried to shoulder barge the player into next week and it never worked

only thing i disagree with is parker. yes he does heaps of work, but so many plays stop when the ball gets to him when it should go through the hands to the backs

Parker is a joke, I have had enough of his side ways running and always being in at first reciever. Complete KNOOB. Hoffman was good but here we go again downplaying the talents of KHUNT...BORING. [icon_drun

Yep Hunt would have been awesome to have in the 1 last night as he knew how to get others over the line. In saying that, Hoffman will learn it over time.

Why did Parker wait until the 2nd last tackle of the season to try and actually smash someone instead of the usual passive tackles?

Hoffman is bloody awesome and will only get better, I hope he turns into half the player KHUNT was and we are onto a winner.

Hoffman is already half the player Hunt was.
Lets compare.

Running game - Hoffman
Backline plays - Hunt
One on One defense - Hoffman
Support play - Tie (Hunt was never great support player, so in time Hoffam will win this as well)
High Ball - Tie
Leadership - Hunt
Overall Awareness - Tie

You are hardly a fair judge considering Hoffman is you're cousin. Lets not forget how much KHUNT had achieved at such a young age for the Broncos..
