1 win essentially guarantees a finals spot for us, but we can even make it in on no more wins if results go our way.

I dont agree with that at all. We have matched it with 1 and 2. In fact with melbourne we would have one if simpkims hadn't bet his house on the storm.

+1. If we make the finals we are as good a chance as anyone else, especially if we have Glenn and McGuire back on board.
We lose all momentum when Petero and Hannant go off for Dodds and Lui. McGuire will make a huge difference because he can play big minutes and we won't tank as soon as our starting props go with McGuire out there.

and the Sharks who are worse are in front of us, beaten Melbourne at home and Souths who are running hot. Not to mention they beat us too, at our place(yea,we were down on troops)....they beat Manly and the Cowboys as well....
Our for and against is 37..the Sharks is 20...hardly a world apart

I couldn't give a kooee who your team has beaten this year. Simple fact of the matter is the Sharks are a consistent 3rd or 4th gear side who simply don't have any higher gears. We do, and if we fire we'll win, because our best is just a couple of levels above theirs. That's not to say the Sharks wont win, because they never fail to be in anything less than 3rd, and we can have some performances where we barely get out of first. But the fact is we have more gears than the Sharks -- something which I can't plainly say about other teams in the comp.

Although Manly looked ominous yesterday we should feel pretty confident going down there. Aside from the fact they have a lot of busted players our form has been getting better and better over recent weeks and we can't be too far away from putting together an 80 minute performance. If we can just right that period in the middle of the game when our starting props are on the bench we'll be right in it.
Brookvale shouldn't hold any fears for us either, from memory we won our last game played there. Izzy!!!!!
And if we hit the finals in winning form we could definitely go on a run. I'd be confident beating the Cowboys or Sharks away from home (looking like we'd play either of them in week 1).

No, you went out of your way to be negative. Spwn said IF we were at our best we would beat the Sharks. He didn't say we will win no matter. He was already being realistic.
You just decided to jump in and be extra negative, and it's certainly not for the first time. Realism is fine in debate, but you werent debating a thing, just trolling.
