Man my reaction to the injury from Paps vs Coates was a lot different. Felt real bad for Paps but I feel guilty for how excited I was for Coates. Am I a bad guy? Sure. Am I happy to live with it? Yes.
I felt bad for Coates too. I’m happy when he has that sad face from an error he makes but his injury sad face is actually sad.

On the contrary, I am really pleased with his defence, good read and nice speed which is what Oates lacking currently, even just 62m, I remember he caused at least one penalty and no errors?
Plenty of players in this side can make the big metres, defence in our own half is critical and that is where Arthars shines. He also is a solid try finisher given the opportunity.

I debate, there is a reason they never went right, he’s fantastic under the high ball and great in defence…. They knew it. They never went right.
I go with what the conditions are where the players are at. Arthars was the right choice, Oates wasn't and your right they definitely went that way(Cobbo's side) for a reason.

From getting beaten 58-0 in our last finals appearance which led to a wooden spoon to now 1 win away from a GF is such a remarkable turnaround. Not only that but putting our demons to rest by comprehensively beating our bogey team who have had the wood on us at Suncorp since 2009 and for a long time. That felt good! Honestly huge credit to Kevvie but especially Donaghy and Ikin for what they have done to turn the club around.

A changing of the guard. Remember once aussies finally beat the Windy's? It was all over for them at that point.

Oh by the way, I loved seeing Bellamy lose his shit tonight and behind on the score board with no hope. Am tickled pink here lol
Yeah im old enough to remember tty he windies. I watched them at the gabba in 85 as a kid and they seemed to have an answer to everything australia threw at thrm. Keppler Wessels was batting brilliantly (my hero at the time) playing brilliantly with 150 against the best fast bowlers the world had seen and an aging clive loyd comes on to bowl some slow nothings and clean bowls him.
Yeah tonight feels like that time in 91 when we got them, and like that time we will very likely some all time greats mark a turning point in their careers.

Hopefully Ikin will be there for grand final day.
