Finals Week 1

2006 Grand Final.

And it was glorious.

There was also a Souths final in 2013 where Souths got every call you could imagine.
That questionable refereeing was nullified by the fact that the Storm were cheating the cap

Which call was wrong? The only questionable tries were the first one to the storm and radradra one. Both looked a touch forward

Storm's first try in the first half and their first try in the second half. Neither of those should have been awarded and the momentum swung Storm's way entirely when Cummins awarded that second half try.

Auva'a's no try which was a try was also a rubbish call.

Might is well call it quits now. Even if we win next week, we're only gonna get a$$ rap-ped by the Storm especially down in Melbourne. Might as well hang up the boots and ensure a good off season to get everyone back to 100% in 2018.

What was wrong with the first try in the second half? The aavau one was the right call when it went up no try. It is called knock on 90% of the time in general play. Most of them stopped because it looked a knock on

But why didn't the ref stop play if he thought it was a knock on? The call didn't come from anywhere until after the Eels got tthe ball over the line. Shouldn't the ref be blowing knock-on as soon as he or any of his touchies believe it is a knock-on?

I'd prefer the Panthers. Don't want the team burning out. We won in 2006 with a good confidence builder game against Newcastle.

But seriously, how many forward passes dis the Storm get away with? And the Roosters for that matter.

Blair gets pinged for something that other teams routinely get away with, and then next game we're pinged for forward passes that have been left by the refs for the last 20 years. It's like the more disciplined we get the more the refs just nitpick on any potential infraction in order to kneecap us. Fucking over it. If it's illegal, penalise every team that does it, every time they do it. Not just us when it suits the purposes of whatever Game Plan the refs have.

I get far too much PTSD watching Penrith.

Cheering on the Trbojevic brothers. Behind the Johns' brothers, I'm their biggest fan and I can't wait until they're Brissie. I really hope I get my Bon Jovi moment with them

Patriots 17
Storm 17
Blackjacks 17

It's nice to see the people's teams get up.
