Also lol @ Mitchell sitting in the stands while his team plays a Grand Final. I guess being a fuckwit doesn't pay, aye Latrell.
Unfortunately he's still getting paid lol. Also I think that if Souffs somehow won next week, there's like a 50/50 chance some rookie would give up his ring to Mitchell for being there for most of the season, like Thurston did years ago for Price.

They'll just pay for an extra to get made. even if Wayne has to pay for it himself

Pete Badel leading Wayne to talking about us in the presser 😂

His teams in a GF and Pete still can't help but try get him to bite on the Broncos

Good game , with a good result . I just hope the Rabbits didn't play their GF tonight. Their defense has definitely improved but I'm doubting their ability to sustain it out wide , especially if it's against the Storm. However wishful thinking ,I hope if we see a bashathon tomorrow and Penrith edge out Melb , Souths V Penrith would be a great NRL GF contest . I'd like to see the old coach get the gatorade tipped over his head , just one more time , that would do me for 2021.

I didn't think Wayne was going to bite for a split second ... but ended up unloading on us.

Look out for Badel's article tomorrow

He didn't give him that much, they'll probably make some click bait headline "Wayne Bennett tells all"

All he said was that Brisbane undermined him badly, no details other than that. We all knew that already though.

Basically went on a rant about us undermining him and praising Souths for hiring him.

Badel got the response he want with the questions asked.

Bennett was pretty accurate though with his assessment of why Souths were able to win tonight, he didn't say it directly but I did feel like he was suggesting Manly got lucky off the back of one player having a freakish season.

Manly against Melbourne and Souths were abysmal and you can excuse them for one bad game but it's twice in three weeks there. I think when they aren't able to enjoy even ball they are completely out of sorts and they can't defend their way back into games, they can score points but at this time of the year you have to be able to defend situations to swing the momentum without copping a hit on the scoreboard. They obviously can't do that.

Manly haven't beaten a top 4 side this season. Says it all, flat track bullies. Turbo hardly fired a shot unless he was playing pleb teams.

That's the one drawback of receiving Reynolds off the back of a premiership. If Wayne wins another one, we will never hear the end of it.

We've won the spoon and been rank average... we're already not going to hear the end of it. The horse has bolted and admin now have to fix it.

Wayne winning a premiership will at least solidify him as the greatest coach of all time (far too many comparisons with Bellamy for my liking, but him winning 8 with 3 different teams locks it in) and because of that the broncos will forever have to be remembered as a dominant team given we provided 6 of his premierships.

Being identified as a dominant team for decades gives us history so we just need the admin to be smart and recruit wisely to get us being competitive again and back in the conversation, and then all of a sudden we are a powerhouse again.

What a salty old bitch. I mean there's no doubt the split was messy and acrimonious, but for ****'s sake build a bridge, Wayne. He clearly came out of it on top, regardless of who did what or pushed who or spread nasty gossip or whatever happened. He walked away from a team he'd built that was on the decline and no real chance of getting to the big dance in the near future, and inherited a team that already had great pieces in place and was full of potential.

Anyway, hopefully the Storm gut them next week.
