This is wreaking havoc with my OCD :barf:

Big loss indeed. Hopefully my man Taga gets a shot. Gillett's a tough man playing with that sort of injury especially the amount of tackles he makes. Like to see an xray just to really have some idea about the matter.

3 fractures in the neck apparently.

Gillett suffered a crusher tackle in Round 1.

His injury happened in Round 1.

Put 2 and 2 together..

Those Dragons *****

I've been playing Dark Souls 3 a lot recently just because it has a lot of dead and dying Dragons in it

I wouldn't mind seeing Oates get a go but we have to find a winger that can make decent metres bringing the ball back

Everybody panics when they hear it's a spinal fracture (understable given worst case scenario that can happen) but there are plenty of different types of spinal fractures. In short, the fracture would have been stable and had no risk of spinal cord involvement. The way the spine is stacked and the fact movement and weight can be distributed at different levels or areas within the back is either a hinderance or a benefit depending on the fracture location or type. Often the specialist will simply say "you have a fracture in your back, carry on with life, maybe take it a little easier then normal, it will heal on its own. If it gets worse or you get any neural symptoms let me know. See you in 4-6 weeks. That'll be $600 thanks"

They're commonly missed by even the best radiologists or specialists.

They either knew about it and the risks were minimal, or they simply missed it.

I will say I'd rather what a replacement without a fractured spine can bring to the team rather then a Broncos great like Gillet with a fractured spine can bring to the team. His recent form is well and truly justified... Sorry I ever doubted you Gilo. In saying that who's his replacement?
