Now, in the wake of Milford’s remarkable debut season at Red Hill, the Broncos will discuss a four-year upgrade to keep the Maroons hopeful until the end of 2021.

I was cool with giving up Glenn during the off-season, but after the first couple of rounds, I'm against it. It's pretty hard to find back rowers that can actually punch through the line like he does, it's the perfect combination on that left side with Milford. I think it's in our best interest to keep Maranta as well, as much as he's not flashy, he's really great to have on the roster because of how safe he is, even as depth.

I'm also more at ease with Oates being a full-time winger, at least for the next 4-5 years, while he still has his youthful speed and athleticism, after that starts to diminish we'll put a few more KG's on him and move him into the back row.

I'm actually really happy with our roster at the moment.

I don't think Sydney is a threat but he'd be making sure he gets as much from Brisbane as possible and going too early won't help that.

Even if this article has any truth in it, Matty is becoming one of the more visible Broncos. I've seen a lot of footage of him running coaching clinics etc. Coupled with on field improvement, I reckon he'll be able to secure some TPA's and like the article say's if he's being backended on some of them CP13/Thaiday dollars I'm sure he'll be comfortable in the future without having to commit career suicide down at the Titans (or whatever they'll be called then).

Also stated why we bought TPJ and Timu for cheap.

Personally i dont want to lose gillett as its not going to be long before we lose our 2 most senior backrowers in Parker and Thaiday to retirement. If i was running the show and G.I had to come then i would then tap Parker on the shoulder. We have plenty to replace him at lock as good as he is. Moose, Oates, TPJ , Timu, Arrow, Hipgrave. We certainly dont want to lose guys in the middle aged bracket for league.

Id buy Valentine Holmes if i was i n charge to take over kicking duties. And a future full back replacement to Boyd.

I think Gillett is our next Gorden Tallis - if he isn't already...
There's no way the club are gonna let him go anywhere and I don't think there is enough money in Queensland to get him down the highway to the Goldie..
