Hodges on report

he wouldnt have done it if Hayne's tackle didnt happen. unfortunatley thats a part of Hodges game.

Will be gone for a while.

I guess Stagg will be put in the centres.

Stagg in the centres is 1 trillion times better than Stagg at 5/8th, so I wouldn't mind as much. We should be giving Moon a go there though

yeh playing against the Dragons Moon could be good out wide. With no Gasnier we dont need a defensive centre to defend him.

And how about Taylor against the dragons next week??? Could see him rampaging through their soft forwards.

maybe he can use his last tackle as evidence, and only get a few weeks.

How the hell can you guys say Piggy was soft? Watch the replay, it's been a long time since I've seen someones head go in the direction his did. He should count himself lucky that he walked away without any serious injuries.

For most of you, it would be a completely different story if Piggy was in Broncos colours but I'm going to call a spade a spade and say Hodges is an idiot for doing it, and that Piggy is lucky to not be seriously injured because his landing WAS very fucked up!

yeh it was bad. some ppl forget what Ennis did a while ago.

Rock is on the money 4 - 6 weeks minimum for mine. Didn't see the replay that well at the game but my first thoughts were it was really bad, late and caused the player to leave the field with a possible neck injury.
There is no way they can go soft on this tackle (because it would let everyone else argue by comparison) and they won't.

Hodges' tackle is exactly the same as his effort last time, but this time far worse. He has a bad habit of dumping a player after they have long offloaded. He really needs to get rid of these brain snaps as a supposed senior member of our side.

Just watching the replay now and it didn't seem as bad as it did at the ground. 2 weeks would be enough

With the Piggy 'injury' they got a free interchange.

The rubbed him with the magic water sponge.

If he is suspended, if it's any more then 2 weeks the judiciary is a joke.

Hang on it's already a joke.

There was no lifting in the tackle.

FFS Kaz you have NFI, watch it all again, then watch it again and if you have the same opinion sleep on it and watch it again tomorrow. The tackle was shocking, Riddell went into the dressing room after the tackle he landed on his head and bent his neck. Wake up to yourself and take the Bronco coloured glasses off

I think the point is it was a very avoidable incident which could have caused a sever injury, they will and should smash him.

Bad stupid tackle, even though I think Riddle actually landed on his forearm and rolled on tho the back of his neck, still would have hurt, maybe he played it, but I would have too. Hodges4 weeks maybe.

I have watched it several times & IMO it's not as bad as some are saying.

I am not wearing my Broncos glasses.

Riddell was back on the bench within a few mins.

Even the commentators mentioned how quick it was.

But in the beginning, the way Daley was waffling on about it, before the shown, it was the worst ever tackle in the world, I was expecting Riddell to be speared into the ground, & all that you could see of him was his ankles & feet.

Just not sure you get it kaz. It doesn't matter about the injury he didn't get it matters that it was late and avoidable and it matters about the potential for injury that was created.

I do get it was late & avoidable, but it's not worth 6 weeks. [icon_evillaugh

If he get 6 weeks for that, then players lifting in a tackle will get most of the season.

A spear tackle will get them 2+ years. [icon_ee

Was definitely avoidable and will pay the price of missing Origin 2 and quite likely Origin 3 as well.

I am guessing he will get between 3-6 weeks, as has been said though who knows what the judiciary will think of it.

Hayne will be in trouble too, his was bad but not as bad as Hodgo's tackle.

Oake could find himself in a little trouble to for the raised elbow on Denananananan!
