I really hope for are joking. My grandad showed me some stuff from when Beetson was playing, and he carved. Very mobile. Had the ability to offload on his way to the ground. If he isn't in the team the selectors are on drugs.

Still think it's touch and go that Lazo is expected to be a "certainty" for a prop spot over Webcke tbh.

For all of Beetson's failings since he retired (and there is more than a few of those), his on-field feats were nothing short of amazing.

Big Artie's doing an entertainment tour with Tommy Raudonikis later this year, including a visit to Iraq and Afghanistan to entertain the troops.

Hopefully Artie's frame will ensure nothing bad happens to Tommy or anyone else, but I'm still hoping something happens that will stop Beetson from being able to give his opinion on every freaking thing that happens in the sport. I have a memo for you, Beetson... SHUT THE HELL UP. No one cares.

mick neither will be in the side when you have props like Duncan Hall and Noel Kelly and Beetson and Mick Madsen ahead of them.

I think Wally will be #6, Meninga in the centres and Johns half and maybe Steve Walters hooker as the only modern players in the side. Although I also think Locky would be good off the bench but Fulton will get that spot.

Certainties will be Churchill, Irvine, Gasnier and Raper. Then likes of Burge, Beetson, Hall, Proven will be somewhere.

I have no idea why Lazzrus is always picked over Webcke. I'm guessing because Lazzrus was a captain and where ever he went he won but come one, how does that make him a better player!
