Intrust Super Cup 2015

Mamo is a jerk. They were saying in the commentary that he was involved in backplay in a few rounds including the grand final. Gus pretty much summed it up. Hes angry with anyone for anything. He held a Jets player back for a 20m restart and was involved in a couple of other scuffles too. I would not be surprised if he did something in a tackle or two to deserve the punch. The Jets dont bother with that stuff from what i have seen. I say that as a Wynnum supporter too.

I saw someone pull Pandias hair and earlier the blatant elbow to face on the ground. The second half from both sides was poor by comparison as the Jets were dragged into it.

What does everyone think of the calls where Jets were pinged twice for getting off the line too quick? Im not sure is why i am asking.

Didn't clear the ruck was what the ref said; he needs to be given a chance to get rid of it.

If Barba isnt playing NRL next year then I wonder at the selectors for every team in the NRL. His small frame might be all thats holding him back.
Will be interesting to see h9w the Jets bounce back next year.

Parcell to Manly
Anderson to Broncos (probably still available though)
Lander to retirement
I think the commentators said Cleeland to Panthers.
Griffin and Velakapa on the Broncs shortlist too.

Ive not seen enough of Velakapa to rate him above Pandia, Barba and Griffin for a look in.

Oh and Anderson had a bit of a shocker today but hopefully that gets overlooked.

It will only be Lander, Parcell and Cleeland.

I agree, Mamo seems like a massive ****. But what Billy McConnachie did was a send off or a sin bin at the least.

Parcell was getting flogged and he stopped it.

First time I have seen Madness do that; he said sorry after the game.

How's this for the ISC.

15/17 from the NRL premiers played ISC.
Green and Demetriou both coached at ISC winning premierships for Wynnum and Pride.
First try set up by Granville and last try set up by Morgan who both won premierships for Wynnum and Mackay
Cooper, Scott and Bolton all played in Young Guns premiership in 2005.
Coote, Feldt, O'Neill, Asiata, Kostjasyn and Bolton all played ISC this year.

Sounds like a great development comp.

When there is a parallel comp to the ISC, that is based in Queensland, and caters for those too old to play NYC yet can't quite crack the NRL, then we'll have a comparison to use. At the moment it's like saying "15 of 17 players played under 12s, how's that for an effective comp".

With Reserve Grade, we might just have that.

And here's the stupid thing. The ISC is a great comp. It has its place in the world of Rugby League. And I have tremendous respect for blokes who put everything on the line every week just for the love of it, while still holding down full time jobs to make ends meet.

But blowing it up as something it's not is why I feel compelled to butt heads. Moreso because I know your opinion is biased because you're on the payroll. You're proud, we get that, and you should be. But you're also invested. Don't pretend you're just a wide-eyed bystander that needs to tell the world about the miracles that you've witnessed.

Wests just named their team of the century on Saturday night; that back to back side in 1975 and 1976 was very good. Easts recovered to win the next two after that.

Wests Tigers have today announced the additions of forwards Rod Griffin and William McConnachie, as well as the re-signing of Jack Buchanan, as the Club continues to strengthen its playing roster for the 2016 season.
Griffin and McConnachie will join the Club on one-year deals, while Buchanan has also re-signed on a one-year deal that will secure him at Wests Tigers until the end of 2016.

That didn't take long to announce.
