****. I feel bad for the young fella. His time with us has been dreadful. Its not his fault and he has to realise there is nothing he could do otherwise. He will either get to play again or not.

The best thing is it didn't happen 10 weeks in and he was killing it for us. Also apart from the trials i didn't see him play so i can take it on the chin

We have time now to make the changes needed. Somebody has to put their hand up. Arthurs, Herbie, even Isaako. Do what that that young Raiders fullback did and just go for it. Play out of your skin.

I don’t know that I would tbh. It’s an academic contract. If I don’t teach the hours I’m contracted for, I’m buggered. Maybe you’re right though.

If you are an employee you are entitled to workers' compensation. At the moment they providing workers' comp benefits to RHD students on stipends, so I think you would be covered (depending on what your contract says).

Seasonal contracted employee.

You would be covered for sure then. If you were injured at work at the uni, they would also have to compensate you for any other paid employment you missed out on whilst you had an incapacity.

Most fans can't control their emotions. He has certainly had a bad run since moving north. Reminds me of a guy named Dave Seage who played for Newcastle. A good player who just couldn't avoid the surgeons. Hopefully a speedy recovery.

Yeah Seage was even unluckiest than Bird. He slipped in the shower while recovering from a knee recon and did it again.

I had some optimism when we signed croft but things have just gone down hill since. My biggest concern now is whats happened so far has only been pre season. What happens when the regular in season injuries and suspensions start?

Yeah a 400k a year contract at max - not 700/800.

I doubt any club would take him without at least a full season back under his belt a la Moga.
