if the clubs recruitment staff can't handle more than 1 negotiation at a time, then it's time to get new recruitment staff.

I doubt the Cowboys would be involved in negotiations with the Broncos ... that would likely fall to Kahus' manager

But what has that got to do with Ethan Lowe? Cowboys are happy to let him go, so he negotiates with South Sydney, not the Cowboys. Lowe leaving has no bearing at all on if they sign Kahu or not. You cant seriously tell me clubs are only capable of negotiating one deal at a time.

Except that’s not going to happen, they have Ben Barbas money to straight up sign Kahu no releases required.

They have plenty of space though because they have the Barba budget. NRL has already confirmed he is out of the NRL. The only real issue would be if they are paying him more than Barba, which i doubt.

$300-350k was pretty much what i thought i read. Probably about the same as what Kahu is on here. They would have no issues in fitting him under their cap even without losing Lowe.
