Basically yeah. But I meant KahuWe're stuck with Boyd twice? ****.
Basically yeah. But I meant KahuWe're stuck with Boyd twice? ****.
Regardless of salary or whatever other opinions people have, Kahu loves this club.
Wow, this is unbelievable.
I always liked Kahu, but when he departed before this season, it was the correct time for us and him. What kind of dumb fucking deal is this, that he can comeback at his will after leaving? Utterly bizarre.
We once set the example for other clubs on how to run things off the field, now we're reaching Knights type levels of amateurishness.
Yeah, I don't know the full story, but gee whiz it doesn't look good.
The truly sad thing is that even the Knights wouldn’t make a deal this bad.
This is the thing for me. I have no issue with Kahu, loved the guy while he was here. Just...how the hell did management make this deal? It's just utterly baffling.
Kahu could just be replacing someone like Richie Kennar in the roster.
Designated safe experienced back up player.
It is kind of needed when we have origin players missing and injuries.
I haven’t been keeping up to date with the squad formation in 2020. Is Kennar still around?
Kahu is at least a good bloke. He’s good for the culture. Same reason people want Glenn to stay.

Yeah, I’m mostly mad at the management of our cap over the past.... 10?.... years..
Don't think people would have problems with an experienced back-up player...who was on a back-up player's salary.
Have we got any inside info as to how much we might have been paying towards his bill at the cows? It might only be another 100 out of our cap to have him on our roster this year.
Does anyone else feel that we are being played by other clubs? Every player (i.e. ofa, turpin, lodge, TPJ, fifita etc.) we had off contract were reportedly being offered big dollars by other clubs, increasing how much we had to pay (in the interim screwing our cap).
We release players to other clubs with clauses stating they can return if the other club dont want them anymore. Or we release them to other clubs and receive no compensation.
Clubs having no interest in players we are looking to offload.
Melbourne dangling croft as a possibility, but in reality they were never going to incur any of the cost for him to move (because they are run professionally).
We are losing the bronco prestige we once had and look like we are being run by amateurs.
Why do I have a feeling that Lockyer was taking a pay cut because it was in his contract that he’d be on the board when he retires?
How did he get on the board anyway?
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaan. I was so upbeat yesterday knowing he would have some cap space to play with, now we add ANOTHER player who shouldn't be in our starting 17 on too much coin.
Goddamit.
This makes it better, but how much is he on then?He isn't on 400k.
