Let's bag the Titans

That is pure class from the Titans.

Glad to hear some good news coming your way GC. icon_thumbs_u

Their recruitment has stepped up another notch, they've just signed one of the gun five eigths, Aiden Sezer to a 2 year deal.

My old man in the middle next to Scott Prince, other guy is holding the remains of his old shirt.

Beauty mate! Like someone else said, gonna be tough to bag the Toidans now... But I'll get over it! [icon_lol1.

Titans, I hate you, but that is awesome stuff. Glad to see ur dads looking good, buddy.

I really wanted to rip in but....
Seriously that's pure class to do that for your father and he deserves it too!

Good on them!

Send an email to the Broncos. They might give him a Broncos jersey. At least he'll be cured then!

This and only this is why I don't completely hate the Titans. They do stuff for there fans. They reach out and connect with them. The Broncos head is so far up there arse when it cones to this it's a joke. If your reading this Trad.... Seriously, take a leaf oout if there book and get a **** ing clue.

Well done Titans well done.

I actually remember the days back before the Broncos as an organisation became so arrogant and they did used to do stuff like this for their fans all the time and nothing was too much trouble.

I hope the Titans continue to do this and not go the way of the Broncos administration.

I wonder if it's organisation arrogance, or just lazy staff?

I think it's organisation arrogance because the most of the staff hadn't actually changed when the organisation's attitude started to change, but some key ownership and board positions had.

And hey part of me can understand it - they were the only team in town, they had done a lot of things to build up goodwill and support and it's not like they are going to lose (or have lost) the majority of their fans/support/sponsors etc because of it, and they can spend their time and money elsewhere.

Fair call. I remember when I started looking after the official web site and fielding enquiries that came through I got a lot similar to GCBRONCO's story.

And some not as heartfelt (pardon the bad pun).

Whenever I raised them with the club, the response was usually "we'd love to help, but if we helped everyone who contacted us that was sick/had a birthday etc we'd go broke".

And that's fair enough imo, It's easy for the Titans, GCBroncos dad is proberly their only fan.

On a positive note, they did something enexepected and nice for my son. We are in Adelaide and I brought him up for his 10th birthday to see our beloved Broncos. He got sick and missed the friggen game!

I emailed the club and told them about it and they posted him out a signed birthday card, a footy, membership scarfe and a few other bits and pieces

He was thrilled :)

I think the details of GCBroncos dad having his Titans shirt cut up at the time makes a big difference. If it was the Broncs shirt, the result may have been the same... [icon_shru

I agree it's probably fair enough that they can't meet every request, but these days about 90% of requests get the response Coxy outlined above. But in the early days maybe 5% (tops) of requests illicited that kind of response and I seriously do not believe that they have had that much of an increase in the number of such requests. I actually used to think to myself "man I can't believe how much stuff they do / give away etc etc". But that was in their start up days and they were establishing the goodwill and supporter base, so needed to do it. I still think they could respond positively to more of these requests than they do. And I definitely think they could demonstrate more appreciation of their fans in general.

But anyway, this has now gone way off topic - sorry.

Good on the first aiders! 17 minutes is a long time to be doing compressions.
