Torres gawn for season. Kinda sums up our season doesn't it. Europa looks even more difficult, and you can kiss 4th goodbye (even though I did a few weeks back).

I doubt Liverpool will win Europa, but I'm not sure how the qualification will change if they do. IMO Champions league teams shouldn't go into Europa after being knocked out. If you get knocked out of the CL it should be a case of tough titties, see you again next season.

So Mal and fellow Pool fans who are you rooting for to get 4th ??

I don't think 8th will get the spot because I think that Portsmouth actually get a spot win or lose the FA Cup as Chelsea are already in the CL, therefore if Pool won then 7th would get a Europa spot as at the moment they don't....... I think

I think Tottenham will take it, mind you.. ask me that a few weeks ago I would not have said Tottenham as I assumed they would choke hard come end of season but much to their credit the team form is unreal atm and I think you'll get a point at OT.

Man City's run home is harde, you got Bolton and Burnley (Burnley will be tough away) but still... I think you guys will take it.

I don't know.. who I WANT to take 4th out of Man City and Tottenham.. it's all fucked. Tottenham spending.... Man City spending big... (and will be spending BIGGER if they miss out on 4th) Liverpool being skint *****.. I really do hope any refinancing done for extension (I think there was talk of 60m around on top) would go into transfers to increase value of team. It's pretty simple, if we don't invest we will be missing out on a champs league spot again next year.

I have a feeling Rafa will have some funds available especially with the Standard Chartered deal which is an extra 40m a season on top of what we were getting from Carlsberg. Then any refinancing extensions. Who knows... I think there will definitely be funds available.. how much is anyones guess.

I expect Burnley will be an easy game. They were diabolical at home to Man City and given they are already relegated I'm fully expecting Spurs to win by 5+.

As for Portsmouth, I'm fairly certain they wont get a Europa Spot due to being put into administration.

Not sure if any of you have heard or read this but apperantly Torres is in talks with Chelsea FC [icon_pray. (who just happen to be my club as many of you know) Not having a go at you guys or anything because it's just a rumor at this stage.
