"Milf will be like Locky" - Bennett

Our best forward papalii was on virtually holiday mode all last year. Fensom was injured for a decent chunk of it, and we had the slowest lumbering muppets in shillo and Tilse. He did not have a great platform he was just receiving the ball in a bit more space due to popping in from fullback instead of left first receiver and he weighed about 10kgs less so he was much quicker.

Its odd, now that hes not homesick he seems so happy, why so many doughnuts then?

He's not fat. Why are you even allowed on here?

Tbh, I hope Canberra save the 1 mill they tried to dump on milford and throw it at ben hunt, be a bit less pressure on him, give him a bit of room to grow, create and improve even further. If not, it will put more pressure on the Brisbane TPP to top that contract up a bit. Although we all know that the pipe can take a lot of "pressure".

Haha grow in Canberra under Stuart? I literally can't think of one player who has grown or improved under Stuart or at Canberra. Good joke, now run along back to the Greenhouse where facts don't matter and everything is make believe.

he looked fat and disinterested as a Canberra fan it was pleasurable to watch.

I also wouldn't say we have been a far worse team then the broncos and the forwards are the only good thing we have.

Some of our backs over the past few years have kept us in matches, milf, croker, ferguson etc we have had woeful halves but that's about to change this year.

Goodluck with wayne super coach bennett. His game plans seem to be getting even more boring and limp as each year goes on.

For the record I think ben hunt is a good enough half to carry and organise a livewire non organising x factor type half that milf could be. I don't think he is good enough to overcome an
- overweight half,
- a boring coach,
- a crappy fullback who will be followed by a downhill skier fullback
- a forward pack that as a whole will suffer from one out coaching and a lack of angles or pack plays to help them roll forward.

What the hell, where are the BHQ mods?!! This idiot is just here sterrin up s**t and why his feels the need to start sprouting crap after we loose is any ones guess. I was banned from subscribing to the stupid Canberra greenhouse forum after a few posts there an i wasn't even being rude/aggressive /abusive etc.

Crawl back under your rock ya goose papa! Can't wait till youse loose this week and we put crop on your forum!

good luck with wonder coach stuart and the fight for the wooden spoon

Yeah, I wish we could get Ricky the SuperCoach. He'd do wonders for any team. Said no one ever.

108 tackle breaks- 4th most in the comp.

44 more than any Bronco last year.

Last year Canberra played souths twice.

1st time Milford scored a try, got a try assist, made a line break, made a line break assist, forced a dropout, and made 14 hitups.

2nd time he scored a try, got a line break assist, made 10 hitups, and forced a dropout.

Last night he made 2 hitups and missed 5 tackles.

Teach a man to fish guys!! Fair enough, that was posted in a somewhat inebriated (and incorrect) state. Who had the most tackle breaks for the Bronco's last year? I'm guessing Hunt.

What stats sites do you guys use, I've never found one that gave much detail.

Look one bad game doesn't make a season, but some people on here are a little bit sensitive (Ie ban him because I don't like his pov).

But again imo, his speed looked far far down compared to where he was with Canberra last year, he also doesn't look as lean as he was, but heck that could be just based on his colours of jersey my pov was more based on his agility and movement.

As for not knowing what the players around him were doing, at Canberra he was always a solo man he didn't know or give a shit about what was going on around him and just trying to create for himself. Last night he just looked disinterested.

As for ricky stuart being a over the hill coach too, well if he cant do anything this year that assessment might be right.

That shouldn't mean wayne bennett is immune from criticism and tbh the football dished up by his teams for the last 10 years has not helped rugby league one iota. Anybody suggesting anything different imo is wrong.

theres a difference between a club with a dearth of options and one who has all the resources and power a rugby league club could ever want.

Careful with indigestion and acid reflux, those grapes are pretty sour!

It is only round one and combinations take time, but in saying that, Milford needs to be taking the line on rather than shovelling the ball sidewards each time he gets the ball. I would much prefer Milford with a mentality of running the ball first, then ball playing second.

He should leave the ball playing and organising mostly to Hunt. By running, he can create opportunities which he can then later opt to pass it on to his outside, however by passing as soon as he receives the ball, it doesn't create any opportunities and we're just going sideways.

The only thing that worries me with Milford is he doesn't have much play making ability. Even from fullback, he wasn't a play making fullback. He lacks the passing ability to create opportunities, Instead at Canberra he used his running game to create the opportunity which he could then pass it to his outside once he made the line-break.

I used our fantasy league site that QUEENSLANDER built, gets all the stats from somewhere lol. NRLstats.com.au has all of them too.

In 2014 Hunt made 61, Vidot 54. Can't really think of anyone else to bother checking. McGuire maybe?

I've been to the Greenhouse and thats exactly what the mods there do.

Exactly Foordy! I cant believe his still here posting crap, and, that his hasnt been chased off the forum yet, or banned. I was banned an i wasnt even bein a di*k there at the greenhouse.

Milford should be like Locky....

I.e. play fullback for nearly 200 games before making the switch.

Absolutely.

The other issue here is that Lockyer had, almost from the beginning, 1 quality that can't be quantified: vision - either at FB or 5/8.

Milford hasn't shown me any so far, at the Raiders, or last night 'tho last night was only 1 game.

Foot is tapping ...
