Kahu said he had struck up a particularly strong friendship with fellow Kiwi international Blair since the prop arrived at Brisbane in 2015.
“The way he performs, he definitely wants to leave on a good note,” Kahu said.
“As a Kiwi you don’t really have that family base here in Australia. Within the club you do meet some Kiwi boys and it’s an automatic bond you have. They’re the people you can rely on like family.”

Well he hasn't been performing and he's not leaving on a good note if we go out in straight sets. Fake news.

I don't think Blair really fits the needs of our team anymore, we now have two forwards (Blair and Sims) who are very similar in that they both bring aggression and niggle but offer poor meters.

We need a forward who can chew up some metres so it makes sense to keep the budget friendly version (Sims) and use the cash on another front rower with a bit of go forward.
