New South Wales 2014 Line-Ups

I'm not entirely sure if Jorge Taufua hurt his chances tonight.

He was average for most of the game and made a lot of mistakes which led to points being scored against Manly. However, he got them back into the game with 2 good tries.

Would NSW selectors be willing to overlook the bad parts of his game which would be very costly at that level?

I still think he will be selected.

Pretty weak 8-12 tbh, I'm not even slightly worried about our boys not being able to handle these lot, hoping for a big win in game 1, stamp our authority early

Queensland 20+

I was worried that our side not having another prop in rotation would hurt us, but looking at the NSW side named, i don't think we really need one now.

I'm pretty confident our pack can outplay/muscle theirs.

We are lucky we are facing them in game 1 without Cordner, Fifita or Bird.

Still think they have a superior pack that's going to win the field position battle. Like Nashy (I think) said elsewhere, we'll be screwed once Scott comes off, just like last year. We'll have to survive that period with back rowers everywhere.

Once Scott comes off and Myles most likely too, he does the hitting up? Teo will probably be one though he is small for a 'prop' but then who else?

I'm guessing Parker might be asked to step into the prop role for a while.

BREAKING NEWS:

The NSW state of origin teams first training session was postponed for 2 hours, this morning, because of a suspicious white powder found on the field. After 2 long hours an ASIO investigation concluded that it was in fact the try line.

Thank god it was ASIO that was handling the investigation and not ASADA.....we wouldn't find out for 18mths otherwise.
