Anyone know if these will stream on Kayo?

Jeez we have a trial on Friday I cannot for the life of me get excited. usually this time of year I'm so desperate to see what the team is doing and anxiously searching for a stream or TV link to our trial games.

This year - even with Kevvie on board I'm finding it hard to give a ****.

Yeah me too. I am feeling more positive than I was before but even then, the feeling of 'well we won't get smashed every week as much this year at least' is nothing like 'wow, we are a legit premiership threat!'.

I have not felt the latter since pre-season 2016.

Hopefully things will change when we start spending some of that 2022 cash.

The best hope is that the boys come out with a positive and aggressive intent every week, there is some semblance of a plan in attack and defence, we dont end up -100 in the 6-again and penalty counts again, we get to see our strongest 17 for more than 1 game in the whole year and subsequent re-signing of anyone who is absolutely killing it (let's face it we must have about $5M of cap space for next year).

Well at least somebody else is curious to see how these two will go.

I can understand that, especially since there are more pressing matters right now than sport.

What has me excited for the season ahead is that it's going to be a proper Rugby League season. We're not just getting the NRL back, we're also going to get the Queensland and NSW Cups along with all the lower grades. While I understand how it important it was for the NRL to meet their obligations with their television providers, it just wasn't the same and that was one of the key factors behind the decline in quality.

I think you're going to see a real bounce back for the competition. Not only because of having all the different competitions running in conjunction, but also because teams know what they're walking into this year, instead of having the rules changed on them after a one month break, where some teams obviously knew less than others.

All good points Pete. I just have a nagging feeling that we’ve still got a long way to go before we even begin to resemble the old Broncos.
Our strength and conditioning and our medical team seemed to be so far off their game under siebold. Has there been a concerted effort to rectify these areas? And of course there are still way too many people who oversaw this shambles still drawing a wage from us. If they don’t clean house this year there will be another team in town to make it even tougher and make finding staff who know shit from clay even harder.

The Broncos promoted Andrew Croll into the Head of Performance role, somebody who has been around the club for close to a decade and helped the Cowboys to their premiership victory. I'm not sure what changes were made underneath them or if they were able to sign some of the staff they had to let go during the early days of the pandemic.

It's going to be a tough season for the Broncos there's no denying that. The best-case scenario is that it turns out to be a productive season and the team starts finally forming some combinations.

For anyone interested, an uneventful but solid outing from Bird tonight against Parra with about 20 or so minutes on the field.

Looks to be a little heavier than I last remember him for us, so the progression into the forwards could still be on the cards.

McC did what McC does.

I imagine all the Dragons will be heavier, it is Hook’s thing.

Was there a downpour of 6 agains? Will favour the better touch footy sides if so, big lunkins won't do well with these rules.

Pretty good quality game so far in Warriors v Titans.

Early days but titans don’t look that unlike previous seasons. I predict they won’t finish higher than 8. 9-10 likely.

we’ll see how this ages.

They are already getting all the favourable calls though. They've been literally laying on the Warriors and not even looking to get off and the ref is like, nope that's milking.

Fifi has a latrell like work rate at the moment (not a good thing). Just loitering out wide
