NRL 2023 Round 9 Discussion

In fairness that was an elbow to the face so I can understand why that would draw more attention. However there wasn't a lot in it either and Felise did give himself some plausible deniability to avoid the send off.
I thought there was another one before or after that incident that Buzz brought up, where he had his shoulder on someone's head and then drove through with it 🤔🤔

Couple of lucky penalties there for the Dolphins, but it was good to see JMK sum the situation up nicely. Nice to see Wallace just look to win the ruck and allow JMK to send the captain over.

Here comes the golden point shoot out, what can Isaako do?

Could be, I'm thinking of the one where Felise drives him to the ground, then drives his elbow in the face right before Matterson hits the turf.

Surely Young passed off the ground.

Yeah I got that wrong because Matterson was definitely the elbow.

The one I might be thinking of is Kaufusi on Sam Walker. Kaufusi is the ball runner going at Walker, gets his forearm positioned on Walker's face and then drives his head to the ground as he goes to ground.

What are the Raiders doing?

Do they know they can go for a field goal?

This is why I'm VERY happy we didn't go for Fogarty.

So NOW they go for it?

Unbelievable. Fucking amateur hour.

Who let Paul Kent control the scoreboard?!

Jesus, it fucking took them long enough.

They should have finished the game off 10 fucking minutes ago.

That six again called for raiders looked very very dubious.. he gets tackled bobbling the ball and it goes flying backwards... how is there six again for it touching a dolphin, without it being a knock on from the raiders first

Was that where he said the Phins played at the ball? I thought it looked a bit suspect.
Yeah ... raiders player is bobbling it into contact and then the ball comes flying out.

They still haven't showed a replay of it

It comes off Young and hits Stone as he's tackling Young.

Knock on. But because Gough, play on.
