I could have sworn I hear that the Roosters were going for 6 weeks and $50 grand whilst the NRL were thinking 12 weeks and some $$ figure. I think he'll get around 8 as a compromise.

That thing that happened in America that was kept out of the media, did the Roosters report that to the integrity unit? If not, Pearce should be deregistered and the Roosters made to lose Blake Ferguson. Didn't the NRL let them sign him because they convinced them that they were a club based on responsibility and integrity? Who actually believed them?

What America thing?

off topic a bitbut do you reckon blake ferguson has turned a corner and is now got half a brain

No. I reckon the Roosters will hold his hand while ever he's playing well, but the moment he starts to decline or someone younger & better comes along they'll let him flounder.

I know of no details, I'm sure someone will though. However it was an incident that happened over in the US that was kept quiet. One of the rumour guys alluded to it too, saying something like "ironic that he's going to the US for treatment as that's where his recent troubles started". Mole or Lurker.

Didn't he go to Thailand for treatment?

Do you work for the NRL or are you Nostradamus?

Good on him. He's been dreaming of doing that stuff his whole life, he gets a better chance with less pressure over there.

Craig Bellamy will continue his coaching career at Melbourne Storm until at least the end of 2018 after agreeing to terms with the Club.

Bellamy’s retention will see the legendary mentor take his association with Storm out to 16 NRL seasons.

The announcement was made by Storm Chairman Bart Campbell today and is set to provide a significant boost to the Club heading into Monday’s season-opener against St George Illawarra Dragons at AAMI Park.

In his 14 seasons in charge, Bellamy has an envious winning percentage of 66% from 341 matches, has led Storm into 12 finals campaigns in the past 13 seasons and five grand final appearances for three victories.

What puzzles me, is how the hell was Graham cleared of a shoulder charge, when even he knew immediately he had stuffed up. Dogs and the MRC are well and truly a special relationship!

I didn't think the shoulder charge was too bad. Certainly worthy of a penalty but to spend time on the sidelines would have been harsh. I am unsure of the rule. Is it mandatory to go to the judiciary for one?

AI the only one who doesn't rate Wighton as a Fullback? I think he's a Centre/Winger. They have an amazing lineup combination that they could use when they're healthy, but it can't happen with this Wighton experiment on-going.

1. Austin
2. Lee
3. Croker
4. Leilua
5. Wighton
6. Sezer
7. Williams

Austin would be an awesome Fullback imo.
