St George offered up Jake Marketo as a player swap for Sims and it was reject.
What fucking planet are they on? No way would the knights give up Sims for a way lesser player.
As in.. Tariq Sims?
Don't see the issue with that, Knights aren't competing this year and Sims is already going to the Dragons next year, I don't see why they'd reject that offer, Marketo isn't awful, if they wait until the end of the season they won't get anyone in return for him.
They are trying to get both Will Matthews and Marketo apparently.
both utter dog shit. The Knights don't seem to know what to do in regards to building a team.
He punches above his weight in defence, sure. Granted that's one more string to his bow than Marketo, but what else has he got?Bit harsh. Matthews is a strong defensive player. Has a good shot in him.

I understand we're talking about Newcastle, but neither player has much to offer. Not even much in the way is experience, which is the only quality they'd bring over the current roster.
Probably better saving the cap space for next year, unless they're open to one year deals as a stop gap solution.
God help whichever club signs that dickhead David Andjelic from NRL Rookie, guys got an ego to rival Farah.
Word around Sydney is he's been blabbing to all his mates about having been told he's won it when it's not even been announced yet.
Perhaps 1910 or Talanoa might know any more?
Handy acquisition, Penrith are amassing quite the roster. Solid pack, dynamic back line. They'll be hoping their young halves kick in though, that's the only issue.Well if there was any doubt about Tamou's move to the Panthers, there isn't now.
He has confirmed he will be leaving.
I'm liking peachey in the centres. Considering their injury list (two international centres out) and young guns (Jennings brothers, Dylan Edwards, versatile Tyrone may, watene zelezniak), they have an embarrassment of riches in their outside backs. A possible long term spine of moylan, Martin and cleary is damn enviable too.Handy acquisition, Penrith are amassing quite the roster. Solid pack, dynamic back line. Plus I can't see them going too far with Capn Hook at the helm...
I'll forever view yeo as a poor man's Corey oates though
Knights are chasing Greg Bird by the sounds of it. They have identified him as the man to rebuild the club.
I think one of the first things they need to do is offload Mullen. The guy has played 34 games in the past 3 seasons and he has not lived up to the hype that surrounded him when he first came onto the scene.
