I hope Hayne leaves the NRL for good. He's a bad image.
It was always going to happen IMO. You could tell when he signed with them that he didn't want to be there.
I dare say said ‘bestie’ never actually wanted to be there in the first place and has made all and sundry aware of it ever since. Him leaving, provided they don’t have to subsidise his salary too much, would be the best decision the Titans have made in years.
Of course, look for the Roosters to suddenly have enough free under the cap again.
reports that the Sharks are interested in Pearce to team up with Maloney in the halves
.......... it must have fallen down behind the lounge!
Hayne reportedly told friends that he is wants to go back to the Eels and will take a significant pay cut to do so.
What he doesn't tell those same friends it that he won't have to take a pay cut at all as NRL rules will ensure he gets his full 1.2 million. and the Titans will be forced to pay the gap between the contracts if they release him
Jarryd Hayne has denied asking for a release and so has the club.
Sounds like a beat up.
What's most likely happened.
Reporter: Hayne, would you love to play for the Eels again?
Hayne: Yeah one day if I'm able I would love to play for them again.
Report: Hayne asks for a release from the Titans.
If he does leave, good on him. That club is a rabble and doesn't deserve to exist anymore. Everyone should get out now while they still have some value.
