Did anyone else notice in the game against the tigers, Dce made a break, b Stewart was looming in support , but stopped to , what looked like , pull his socks up.maybe someone more tech savvy can post the vision. Obviously DCE is there number one target to retain but there is no way the Stewarts and him can stay in the same team. Obviously they have chosen to keep DCE (which they should) and I reckon they have no intention of even offering Glenn Stewart anything. This whole "please nrl we need salary cap concessions to keep him" is just to appease their fans and other members of the team so that when Stewart leaves they can pretend they were desperate to keep him bad the big bad nrl wouldn't help... Manly being picked on again

It's enjoyable to watch, that's for sure. That Stewart moment looks like he's totally willing to hold his team to ransom until he gets his own way. Any functioning club would cut him in a heartbeat for that kind of petulance. Thankfully Manly's powerbrokers have so many conflicting agendas that they simply aren't functioning and something has to give.

And why should the NRL help them out with the salary cap? It was put in place deliberately to share the success around. Manly have won grand finals in 2008 & 2011, and participated in 2 more (2007 & 2013). And they still retain the majority of the core of that 2008 team. In fact, except Glen Hall, the only players that they lost went overseas. How is that sharing the talent around so that clubs have an even chance?

He could be granted a mid-season release. Considering our lack of options on the wing, would anyone want him at the club? I wouldn't mind if we picked him up. He wouldn't be worth much and he has A LOT of speed..

Very good signing by Newcastle. The Mullen/Roberts combination is a good one and one they can build a team around.

Mullen was never going to come to the Broncos if you ask me. He strikes me as a Knights man through and through.

Someone would have to be released for that to happen. Fergo is a tremendous player no doubt but he is a walking headline and would need to be smacked with sense and discipline if he is going to be a successful signing.

Been a rumour since he was booted by the Raiders. The Rabbitohs would have jumped in had the NRL allowed it, but if any team overlooks dick heads in its search for headlines and points, it's the Roosters.

I think there is a 70% chance that the NRL won't register his contract if he has signed with the Roosters. I am hoping that's exactly what they do. Send a message to all of the fucktards giving the game a bad name.
