Dodged a huge bullet with Proctor, but I still think you are paying big overs for Tedesco.
But we are paying big overs for Kennedy,
I'd be interested to get @Mt Smart take on the Warrior's situation.
I know that the Warriors are notoriously slow starters and this is the stage of the season where they tend to build some momentum but if I was a fan, I'd be interested to see more players blooded.
In particular they have this forward playing for the Auckland Vulcans named David Bhana. I believe he captained their 2013 NYC side to a Grand Final and is the type of player who was famous for racking up the tackles and always fighting in a lot of tackles. If I was a Warriors fan, I'd like to see him groomed for a first grade position and maybe even selected in a few games to get a taste and stake his claim. Ideally, he's the type of player the Warriors would want locking the scrum. The only knock is that he's still adjusting to the demands of being a first grade player and that's always a turbulent stage of a player's career but I'd much rather see him in the starting line up than a Dominique Peyroux.
I also feel for Palavi and Ikahihifo. I could be mistaken, but I recall they were more fringe runners back in their NYC days and they've been forced into middle forward roles where they have yet to really stand out. While Sebastine deserves more time, I think his ideal position is on the fringes and is the type of player you want coming off the bench.
Melb rumoured to be chasing a half for the rest of the season to fill the gap left by Cronk maybe Arana Taumata could be a target?
Just read that Mansour is staying at the Panthers, great news for them. Gould has done good things at that club.
Lol at the Raiders coming out that they are giving up on junior development and will just sign from other clubs. 1 out of 4 after throwing massive overs at off contract players, and that doesnt include the failures of trying to keep Milford and get Glenn Stewart.
Unlucky for the Raiders. Good pick up of Tedesco, but struck out on Proctor (luckily, given the rumoured price tag) and Mansour.
Talk is Ennis is going to Cronulla, as they won't offer him the three year deal he's looking for. That's poor on their behalf if they let him slip. Can always phase him out and a new blood in during his final year.
