I wish Ricky would develop his own talent and not poach others from other clubs :p

Tedesco is a good signing though and if he can stay on the field he will be a good signing for them.

Playing huge money for him apparently. 2M over 3 years. They are a bit insane.

@brentread_7: Rumours Ricky Stuart was in Melbourne last night to meet Proctor and up the Raiders' offer. As they say in the classics, it's all happening

You can't blame Teddy but seriously, the Tigers have stuck by him for a couple of years will very little return until early this season. If the Raiders are throwing stupid money around, they'll really only be able to afford one more decent signing at best. And then have serious depth problems.

So much for Raiders not poaching stars from other teams..
We've been left little choice, either poach or die with the way the NRL have made developing a non priority. If the interview with Don was correct the other day watch the Raiders dramatically reduce the amount they spend on development.

It is better than the $1.2 a year we were throwing at Milf. Milfs a better player but Teddy's a better all round fullback.

Except there's a big chance he'll be like Hodgo, good for about 6 games a year.

Yep that's a risk but one worth taking. Interesting tidbit he's played at Leichardt 4 times and had 3 major injuries there, hopefully he's only injury prone at that ground

Less retarded is still retarded.

For Canberra's sake, let's hope it works out and Tedesco is able to put his injury plagued past behind him. He's a great player on his day and the game will be richer if he can stay on the paddock.

If I was them, I wouldn't want them chasing after Proctor and would be happy to just settle for a players like Ennis & Mansour.

If he stays fit and that's a big if he's worth it. If we get Ennis as well our spine has gone from rubbish to good with a good mix of styles.

Yeah much prefer Ennis and Mansour, fills gaps that we need filled more than an over priced Proctor.

Yeah that would be a good mix .you'll have one guy that stays down with genuine long term injuries, and another that stays down because he's a grub.

Assuming the Raiders can somehow afford to sign Proctor, Mansour & Ennis, they've got a pretty strong roster at full strength for next season.. if Stewart can't manage to get this sort of team in the top 8, if not the top 4, then all of our comments about him being an awful coach will be proved correct.

1. Tedesco
2. Lee
3. Wighton
4. Croker
5. Mansour
6. Campese
7. Cornish
8. Shillington
9. Ennis
10. White
11. Papalii
12. Proctor
13. Fensom

14. Edwards
15. Vaughan
16. Tilse
17. Boyd

It's only going to work for the Raiders if Stewart is moved on at the end if the year ala Parramatta. Ricky is good at attracting star players, just can't coach them.

When James Tedesco moves to Canberra will this be on the side of his car.
