NRL Player Movements and Rumours 2015

On face value I'd agree but I doubt it'll work out for Sandow. Certainly the best thing for the Eels, circumstances considered.

In other news, rumours have Dunamis Lui heading to the Dragons. Rejoice!

Sandow is an ESL special IMO.

Seems the Eagles aren't stopping there, it would seem the club has squashed rumours of Jamie Lyon being on the outer and he has "the full support of the board".

Pretty sure you're meaning he is up for the chop ! That's usually the death knell when you read those words. He hasn't scored a try this year and you'd have to think that's pretty ordinary for a centre.

The only thing lower at Manly would be morale, how they handle all this is going to be interesting.

Could be onto something. Ideally, Martin is more of a five eighth in the Anthony Milford mould but with Wallace coming off contract in 2016, Soward 2017 you'd have to think ol' Pete maybe the player to miss out.

It's a good signing for the Panthers. They've got their halves settled for now but they can get Martin used to their systems, develop him how they want to and bring him in fresh for 2017 looking to kill it.

Wish more clubs took that approach with their juniors.

Wallace out for the season with yet another ACL tear, wouldn't be surprised if they ask him politely to retire or step down so they can go with Martin.

I would love for that to happen. If it works a treat, we take them back when Benny retires. Newcastle is my second team, so I want to see them do well.

Nathan Friend heading back to the Titans one year deal

Coal train doesn't want to leave the gold coast, well I'm sure one of the local teams would have him.

Friend isn't the worst signing. I've always had time for him as a player and is a good backup hooker and could possibly start for the Coast (I don't rate Fallon that much).

They let him go when he was in his peak, and sign him when he's past it. Reminds me of the Civo situation a bit.

Dave Taylor is set to leave the Titans and go to the Catalans dragons. What a waste of talent he was if Taylor had any drive he would've been one of the best second rowers we've seen.

That's terrible news, I like les cats. Should've sent the lazy bastard oop norf somewhere and if he didn't pull his weight at least they could put 'im to work down t'pit.

Eto Nabuli has signed with the Queensland Reds.. way to show good faith to the code that picked you up from being a hotel worker in Fiji..

The way I see it, Nabuli was always going to be a fringe first grader AT BEST and if it wasn't Rugby Union, he'd probably find himself in England where the money isn't much better than it is down here.

Good luck to him.

On the other hand, are the Reds serious? Their recruitment and retention has been HORRIBLE since their 2011 premiership with last year taking the cake. I feel sorry for their supporter base, I really do. As bad as things have been at the Broncos, we've never endured the long term suffering of the Reds and if things are going to change, they're going to have to make some tough choices such as getting rid of the coach and signing up some players who they can rely on.

O'Connor & Hunt aren't those players, and before them, Cooper was always an accident waiting to happen.

His rap sheet makes Dugan look like a choir boy.

But then again, all of it filters from the top and the ARU is a joke.

In other news...

Justin Horo - Catalans
Ben Lowe - Retirement
Shaun Hudson - Cowboys
James Hasson - Eels
Zeb Taia - Titans
Jack Littlejohn - Tigers
Ryan Matterson - Roosters
