This pretty much confirms the Lui to Broncos rumours as well I assume, predicting the announcement of his signing for next season within a few weeks.

On his day, he can be brilliant. But how often do you actually see that?

He lacks consistency and he is a tad bit lazy. I don't think even Bennett can save him.

He's like Adam Blair, except lazy, injury prone and not useful defensively.

And herein lies the problem with guys like Mateo. So much talent and the best thing that could happen to him is to sign and a club with a strong coach and take the pay hit, but it will never happen because there will always be an Eels, Raiders, Tigers etc. willing to offer him big money for little return.
