Cook has signed with Souths, way better than McInnes from what I've seen of him.

I'm assuming you're talking about Damien Cook?
Yeah that bloke is a gun, he really impressed me from what I saw of him at the end of the season.
Jack Bird re-signing with Sharks long term, and also being moved to Fullback permanently, I like the move a lot actually, he's a great runner of the ball.
1. Bird
6. Maloney
7. Townsend
9. Ennis
Probably one of the better spines in the NRL if they all gel.
Hurrell's laziness is legendary. He can't be rewarded with NRL starting spots or he'll never have the incentive to improve. The fact that he keeps getting dropped is a blight on Hurrell, not the coach, in my opinion.

If he's talented enough and better than all your other options by a fair margin, then yes he can be. Hurrell wouldn't be the first centre who is lazy off the field or has defensive problems. The difference is finding a compromise to get the most out of them. That's what worked for Renouf and for Hodges.
If McFadden was doing a fair job across the park and this was the one area where he had it wrong, I'd be more accepting of the move. However, there's a lot of things he's been doing his second year that have bugged me, leading me to believe he's nothing more than a stop gap coach.

Personally not a huge fan of that spine. Maloney and Townsend are waaaaay too similar. Bird is unproven at fullback. Ennis is shit in big games.
It's probably a step up from numpties like Gordon and Robson, but do they have as much "fluke" in them as they have this year?
Rothfield and the Mole are both reporting Marty Taupau to Manly.
If they can find someone who isn't awful to partner Cherry-Evans they'd have to be premiership favourites going into next season, their squad is stupidly stacked.
1. Stewart

5. Taufua
6. T.Trbojevic

I just don't see Trbojevic at 6. Class player at his age, but he's at FB or the wing if you ask me.
Koroisau at 6, or Lyon perhaps (with Hiku moving in to the centres and Tom on the wing).
Whatever. We'll still bury them. I'm not convinced Barrett is going to be able to turn them around.
