Also Hunt going to the Cows is just all kinds of wrong on a number of levels.

I'm not sure about the Sharks ... but the Cowboys signed him on fullback money, then eventually realised he was poor there so moved him back to the wing/centre.

Maybe he wants to get back to fullback before his next contract is due ... keep that fullback money

If they do sign Hunt, it says to me they are bringing him there to mentor Duffy.

Chad's deal ends at the end of 2024 but it sounds like they will let him go for next season if they can. I don't think Duffy is going to take over straight away and instead the Cowboys will have him bide his time. He's made it clear that he has no plans on leaving the Cowboys and will stay loyal. I don't see Hunt playing beyond 2025 so I think they will bring him up for two seasons, mentor Duffy and then Duffy takes over '26 onwards.

The Raiders were reportedly offering around $900K~ whereas the Titans offered him 800K~.

It was a good deal for the Titans, especially with the 22% increase. Under the new cap, it's nearly half the value he signed on last time.

I rate Fifita as the best second row in the competition and would have signed him for that. However after the way Riki's performed, I'd have to weigh things up if I was the Broncos.
