In all seriousness though the sooner he gets out of the club the better for his own future. It can't be doing him any good.
 
Sexton is a good pick up. He’s a solid 7 and the Dogs can use solid players.
 
But seriously, if I were the dogs, I’d be thinking about trialling this:

1. New recruit, not sure who - maybe Taaffe
2. Kiraz
3. Xerri?
4. Crichton
5. Addo-Carr
6. Burton
7. Sexton

No idea for the 3 spot but they should have kept Averillo

The amount of outside backs dogs have used as Fullbacks but failed to do a job in the last few years has been comical.

Crichton is their best option on paper, but it's very much a poisoned Chalice.

The real reason he wanted to leave was because of not being in the Top 30, so he can be on bigger wages.
 
Kinda feel sorry for the kids who see themselves in one role or another and get smoke blown up their arses for so long only to face the cruel reality of the world. For most of us, we are also forced into roles we never really saw ourselves in, but the ego crash is probably a lot less.

Nah don't feel sorry for this kid whatsoever. Acted like an absolute jerk and its biting him on the backside. Be nice if he learns some humility from it.
 
He’ll end up at phins at some point, probably soonish.
Brisbane wouldn’t release him to phins, bulldogs will just end up being the long way and also cash in on some extra $$ in the process.
However in the process there’s a good chance he has hindered his development. Anyway, he made the choice.
