Only because the media blasted them so much, from all accounts it was 100% going to happen but the media calling out what a farce it is has made them back down. It should never have even been considered but it just shows you how reactive and gutless this administration is.

He'll still be available for selection in round one ... because the NRL allow suspensions to be served in the all star game.

IMO, it doesn't really matter if he serves it this week or in the Feb All-star game

Addo-Carr has allegedly failed a roadside drug test. Get them all into the real world for a day volunteering at a hospital or with the ambos. The pure stupidity of these self-entitled, self-indulgent muppets. If he was in 'control' of a vehicle, while drugged out of his brain or high as a kite, he should lose his license for 10 years. Putting innocent folk at risk! 🤬

The roadside test was confirmed by NSW Police via a statement.

“About 10.45pm on Friday, officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command were patrolling Baywater Drive, Wentworth Point, when they stopped a Toyota hatchback for random testing,” the statement read.

“The driver — a 29-year-old man — was subject to roadside testing which allegedly returned a positive indication for cocaine. The sample has been sent for analysis.”

Watching last night on 100% footy you could tell he was pissed about it. I think Addo Carr has lied to the club saying it was negative and then the police have confirmed it to the media that its positive. Absolutely moronic from JAC to even think he could pull the wool over the club with this. They will 100% use this as a reason to sack him if that's the case and the NRL will 100% back the club too.
