I don't see why this is in the news, and I don't see why Fifita should have to apologise for visiting old mate.

Having said that, it's not really shocking that these ***** are friends. Fifita and his brother should have been permanently deregistered for the referee incident last year, and I reckon he'd be in jail now too if that was the case.

I don't think it is the fact that he has visited a friend in jail that is rubbing people up the wrong way. I think it is the fact he is using his public position in the game to promote a very questionable cause.

I don't have an issue with Fifita being friends with Kieran Loveridge, you don't just abandon your friends if they've done the wrong thing. Once you're famous, you do have to choose your friends carefully so if he's hanging with childhood friends who turned out to be bikies, no problems. If he's started associating with them because they've become friends with his mates, that's a problem.

I do have an issue with the FKL on his wrists, you can show your support in a different way.

Mind you, every time Fifita gets hit with a hard tackle his head probably sounds a rattle.

I'm not comparing the actions, and while what Lodge did is more serious and has absolutely no excuse, there aren't any for what Fifita did either.

Threatening people physically, no matter under which circumstances (yes, even Weidler), is the mindset of a bully whom will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Both fit that category, even if the offense of one is much worse than those of the other.

Example, if one argument between two men resulted in some injuries and a separate and different incident resulted in death, you couldn't say both the offenders are on the same level because of the crimes.

The facts are that Fifita hasn't done anything outside of the game to compare to extremities of Lodges incident.

The incidents are the only thing we can base our opinions on though, unless you personally know both Lodge and Fifita and can say both of their characters are as bad as eachother?

Lodge literally told a woman and child that they were going to die that night, therefore showing intent to kill.

Fifita has threatened referee and reporters with violence because he's stupid and over emotional but never showed actual intent to kill as far as I'm aware?

Agree with Broncosalways. To put Fifita and Lodge in the same class is wrong as Lodge has been convicted of serious crimes and showed intent to kill and could face jail time whilst Fifita as much of a deadshit he is hasn't intended to kill anyone and most likely isn't a deranged animal like Lodge is. As for Fifita visiting a prisoner he isn't breaking the law as it's completely legal to visit someone in prison, he has actually known this guy from childhood. Though I would hate to know someone who king hits and kills people I probably would cut of contact with them.
