Fifita is an even bigger stain on the NRL than Gallen or J. Reynolds, probably at the same level as Matt Lodge.

I don't see why this is in the news, and I don't see why Fifita should have to apologise for visiting old mate.
Having said that, it's not really shocking that these ***** are friends. Fifita and his brother should have been permanently deregistered for the referee incident last year, and I reckon he'd be in jail now too if that was the case.
In fact I can't believe that it's some kind of a crime in NSW to visit a friend in jail.
You mean other than road rage, threatening a reporter and a referee, all in separate incidents? What has he done to be on the same level as a psychotic man who broke into, threatened and abused a woman and child in their own home?
He is nowhere near as bad as Lodge.

Then nothing more than supporting a murderous piece of shit, at least as far as common public knowledge is concerned. But who knows what else he's into...?
The Fifita brothers are mates with Lodge.
Birds of a feather flock together.
I'm not comparing the actions, and while what Lodge did is more serious and has absolutely no excuse, there aren't any for what Fifita did either.Your comparing those incidents to what Lodge did?
Seriously mate?
Read the full police report of the Lodge incident again and tell me that threatening a referee and reporter ( if it had been Weidler he'd threatened we would probably be supporting him), is the same as what Lodge did.
Yes, Fifita is a numbskull, there's no denying. I simply disagree that anyone can liken him to Lodge and what he's done.
I'm not comparing the actions, and while what Lodge did is more serious
Both fit that category, even if the offense of one is much worse than those of the other.
You're comparing the incidents, I'm comparing characters. The former are different, the latter... not so much.Yes, hence why I said Fifita isn't an angel and we all acknowledge his status in the game and society, what I disagreed with was you saying
"He's on the same level as Lodge"
He isn't, purely because of what you identified as the seriousness of the crimes.
Example, if one argument between two men resulted in some injuries and a separate and different incident resulted in death, you couldn't say both the offenders are on the same level because of the crimes.
The facts are that Fifita hasn't done anything outside of the game to compare to extremities of Lodges incident.

Like with Lodge, your example warrants more serious punishment for the incident resulting in death, but does not make the persons involved much different from one another. One is just luckier than the other that he "only" injured a person, instead of killing him, like Fifita's mate did.
