NRL Players and family members in hot water

You know what I mean.

Yeah, And I'm sure CaptainHook will supply the 'like'...they were drunk, ergo asking for it. Because "either way" you only have yourself to blame...

Not sure what you're getting at.....

They are drunk sluts so whatever happens is on them or words to that effect

CaptainHook is insinuating if you get drunk enough to get raped, it's your own fault. Because obviously the lines of consent are blurred by drugs (and by intent - because women are known to have an agenda of getting men drunk in order to take advantage of them sexually).

All these 'alleged' rape 'victims' shouldn't have 'put themselves in that position' etc...

I was not insinuating that at all.

The only point I was making is people who get severely drunk in a public venue expect no consequences. Seriously?

Maybe have a few drinks then go home and continue to have a few. That way you can stumble into bed.

But hey, women are special little snowflakes. They don't fart too.

Well I certainly don't agree with that sentiment at all. Not sure that's what he was trying to convey either.

Once I got so wasted I passed out in a park and some scumbag/s came and took my phone and my wallet straight out of my pocket without even asking. Even though I was the victim I still lay a portion of the blame on myself, however small that portion was.

If we lived in a perfect world then nobody would have to worry about being raped or having their possessions stolen but the fact is it's very, very well known that we don't live in a perfect world. I think that's what he was trying to say.

Like those two things are at all comparable.

What was offered was 'either way' you only have yourself to blame. Pathetic.

I don't give a shit if she was sober or drunk off her ass ... IF she didn't give consent that is rape to other word to describe it and it is 10000% the fault of the scumbag pervert that did it.

So in essence what you are saying is if a woman is raped, and she was drunk, a portion of the blame for being raped is on her for being drunk?

I keep trying to think of it from her father’s perspective and while I’d always want to take vengeance on the bloke, I’d seriously be blaming myself for not teaching my daughter about the dangers of the real world and the simple steps to ensure that you didn’t put yourself in compromising situations. If, indeed I had taught her that, I’d be fucking filthy at her, all while conflictingly sympathetic to her experiences.

Either way, I hope there’s some evidence otherwise Hayne will be the one suing for damage to his brand.

So how do girls stop being raped? Wear clothing that covers everywhere? Don’t get drunk? Don’t go out? Do you abide by these rules to stop yourself getting raped?
