For those still playing at home, we're going for Bulldogs, Cowboys (I know), Titans and Sharks this weekend 😀

Thoughts on Webster this year? How that squad is languishing where it is is as mind boggling as us but they have far better depth.

They've had the most injuries for the year out of any team except Souths.

They were missing like 16 players through injuries until about a week before they played us

Hilarious that Dragons have named Flanagan.

Like they think they stand a chance winning at the judiciary when there's clear vision of him doing what he's been accused of.

Big test for the young Panthers. They'll be surrounded by plenty of class but Geyer, Patea, McLean, Cole etc. have to show they can deliver in these big games. It was this corresponding game last year where I thought Penrith were in a league of their own when they were able to beat Melbourne minus Cleary. With Cleary there, I think he'll prove the difference in what I expect will be a slugfest.

I've got it down as one of those games where you pay less attention to the footy and moreso on the defence.

Manly ought to flog the Warriors, but it'd just be like Manly to get out-enthused by a team that's out of the running. The Warriors have been unlucky in that results haven't gone their way and they've had some unfortunate set-backs. There's been games where they did enough to win but divine intervention or some truly horrible officiating denied them. However they're also a complacent footy team with a few players in the twilight of their careers.

It stands to reason that it was a matter of time before it went south. The challenge for them moving forward is improving their systems, pushing the right players through and ensuring they have the right leaders at the club.

Webster for mine has done a great job of giving them the blueprint to be successful. He just needs to stop trying to thrift shop and focus on bringing the right players to the club. Fisher-Harris is a fantastic start and dare I say, the signing of 2025.

And he's gone for 4 weeks.

Is biting worth one week more than abusing a ref?

I still think they should really be doing something about another player jamming his head into another player lying on the deck.

Advantage Penrith.

I wonder if they stick with Eisenhuth or they give Patea the experience in a game like this?

This going to either be a fantastic game or an absolute fizzer I think. Depends how much The Riff want the minor premiership.

Danger game for Melbourne, I just think both teams have been well below their best recently but Penrith can find an extra gear or two a bit easier than Melbourne might be able to.

Can see them having a night out.

Bad defensive decision from Tago... will probably be given a reprieve due to hitting the outside shoulder, but Paps went through the hole created from Tago's decision

WTF the rules just changed from what they've been all year
